May 2163: Our camp decided to pay tribute to our most proeminent fighters of all times, and arranged a bout beetwen co-owners and co-founders of Trigo Top Team, Will Long, now with 36 years, and Paul Hall, with 37. It was a grappling fight, as Will told he hasn't the same ability to ground and pound as when he was a pro. So both used PG and PL styles. As expected, the fight went to decision, where Will won unanimously. Great event! We hope we can arrange more matches like this in the future!

Apr 2162: We can't avoid talking about Will Long's record - In his 60 fights, he won 42 and lost 19. Of his fights, 39 (!) went do decision (wins - 10 unanimous and 12 split; losses - 7 unanimous and 10 split). He had only 1 loss by KO and 1 by submission (!!). He was a submissioner (15 subs and 4 ko), being his favorite technique the armbar (8 times). He had a 12 fight winning streak and a 17-2 record!

Apr 2162: Our God will Long retired at the age of 35. A long 14 year career, with an amazing record of 42-19 (only 1 ko loss!). He was the Academy's icon, the best, the perfect fighter. Records: Best fighter (#50), more titles (10), more title in 1 org (5 in UFL). Achievements: 1st fighter to reach tiers 3, 4, 5, 6 and EFC!; 1st fighter to win tiers 4 and 6 titles. 1st EFC veteran. What else can we say about this MMA legend? If our HALL OF FAME had a rank, he would definetly be #1.

Feb 2162: And we have our first fight in EFC!!! It was hard to find a fair match in such a hard competition but Will Long accepted the challenge from Pascal Lacoste, from world renowned MMA camp Wild Hungarians. Will did well and made the fight call go to the judges, but Pascal took the fight with 2 to 1. All in all, a good debut for both Will and our camp in EFC.

Nov 2160: Will Long sucessfully defended his title against Pablo Ramos world renowned MMA camp Eleven Lounge. The fight ended in Rd 3, with Will's via TKO (strikes).

Aug 2160: The MMA phenomenom Will Long wins the Academy 1st Tier 6 org title. The achievement was in Will's return to Strikefest, where he submitted title holder Noah Sherk in Rd 1, via a rear naked choke.

Jul 2160: Will was unable to finish the young but experienced Harley "Chopper" Bryant, from The Fighting 15th camp, but the judges had no doubt when it come to decide who the winner was. Will Long renews his A-1 title, and for the amazing title fight and 2 title defenses, both Strikefest and Pride (!!!) showed interest in having Will fighting with them. Let's see what Will decides.

May 2160: Will Long renewed his A-1 MW title against MMA veteran Caleb McConomy, from mythical camp Bus Riders. Will won via unanimous decision.

Apr 2160: Great win of Will Long over a superior Valerii Kuznetsov. Will was very patience with his GnP and managed to take the fight to decision, where he won with no doubts. Will wins the first Middleweight A-1 title of our Academy.

Sep 2156: Ladies and gentleman, we got ourselves our first STRIKEFEST fight. Will decided accepted STRIKEFEST's invitation to be a part of one of the best MMA Orgs of the World. His debut was against mythical Shannon Hughes an SF veteran, 3-time champion, world ranked p4p #17!! The result? once again, a loss by split decision. Looking at Will's career, we can definetly say that the judges don't like him at all. Being the 1st fighter to reach a Tier 6 org, he earns another camp's achievement!

Aug 2155: Will challenged UFL Champ Doc Demers for the title. He showed his superiority as he finished the fight in Rd. 3, via an armbar, collecting his 5th UFL belt. Now, the UFL veteran and the camp's flag, is ready to give it a new shot at A-1, claiming that he has now more experience and he can do things differently. Hopefuly he'll be sucessfull this time. Jul 2154: Will Long sucessfully defended his title for the 2nd time, making it his 3rd title win in a row. He fought against Muay Thai brazilian monster Eder Requião. Although Will was all over Requião in the whole fight, he couldn't finish him. He won via unanimous decision.

May 2154: No rubber match for these guys!! After main contender for the title, Duke Rowly, decided he wasn't taking the shot, UFL chose the sub: and we were back for Marcelo. But this time Will made a point: submission on Rd.1 via an armbar. Marcelo didn't even had the chance to take a shot at Will. Long is proving to be Trigos Top Team nº1 fighter!!!

Mar 2154: He's back! After an unsuccessful experience in A-1 (only 1 win out of 5), Will decided to return to where he was happy once: UFL. UFL org knows that Will stand against anyone, so they arranged a match beetwen him and Marcelo Assunção, from world renowned Sweet Fit Gym, a #57(!!!) p4p veteran (>75 fights!) wiht nothing less than.. 22 belts(!!) in his career. Will surprisingly won on the 4 rd., by way of submission, with an armbar. Is Will back to the old days?? Wonderful win!!!

Jul 2153 (PART II): So why is this news? cause Will fought against a clearly superior #89 World Ranking Jacob Martins and didn't stop fighting for a minute. He never gave up and tried till the last minute. This confirmed what we already knew: Will is a true MMA fighter, with a huge heart and a great chin. The TTT co-founder is the perfect flag for our camp, our best fighter. Thank you Will!

Jul 2153: (PART I) It wasn't suposed for Will to dispute A-1 MW title. The chance came up after the main contender suffered a last minute injury. The org, knowing Will's background called him and Will never turns down a chance to achieve sucess in the hard world of MMA. No one expected Will to win this fight against clearly superior Jacob Martins. And he didn't. The SOVIET's fighter was in good shape and the judges had no doubt giving him the win. Nov 2152: The win over Masahiko Soseki brought to Will 2 Camp Achievements: He won the 1st Tier 4 Title (UFL MW Champion) and he's the 1st fighter to reach a Tier 5 Org (A-1).

Nov 2152: Unreal. After 18 MMA fights, Will decided to take a shot at a title, choosing UFL MW. And he picked nothing more than Masahiko Soseki. Soseki comes from mythical camp migrantworkers, is a 9 times champion (4 WC, 3 Leap, 2 UFL), a 21-6 rec., with a winning streak of 10 fights and monster ranked #40 (!!). Being a major underdog for this fight, Will won. Which makes us wonder what would've happened if Will decided to go for a title earlier. Bigger orgs got to him and he signed with A-1

May 2152: Its about time to honor Will Long. At the age of 25, the co-founder and co-owner of our camp holds an impressive 15-1 record and a winning streak of 12. Although he doesn't hold any title, Will has already saved a place in hall of fame. And if you think all of the above is not enough, you can add the top-ranked fighter (#355) and the achievements of becoming the first fighter to ever reach the orgs of tiers 3(WCA) and 4(UFL). Wills the perfect role-model to all of the camps youngsters

Co-owner and co-founder of Trigo Top team, Will comes from a wrestling background, as he was an Amateur Wrestling State Champion, eventually reaching NCAA (Illinois).
