Shouldn't this just be called the Heavyweight Tournament?
yeah exactly...i think it could be more interesting if it was a different weight class every tourney
It is Open Weight so there are less fighters missing weight, if you happen to have a fighter that's 280 that misses that is the risk you run. I would rather have maybe 1 or 2 misses at HW than 20+ missing at LHW or lower.
It is called "Open Weight" because the original was going to be just 0-0 but after the poll that was made it was changed to open weight. With the exception of upping the brackets to 64 I am trying to keep as much the same as the first, seeing as it ran so smoothly. Thank you for your concerns.
