Post fight interview:

Reporter: Going into this fight, you said that you wanted to make it up to the fans for your loss, and you called a first round finish. What made you so confident?

Prime Time: I was confident because I am the better fighter. No disrespect intended, but I am just a better fighter at this stage. I wish him the best of luck, and hope he improves.

Reporter: You won with a neck crank, a pretty uncommon move, can you talk us through the end of the fight?

Prime Time: I was just looking for a way to finish, saw his head open, and decided to wrench it. I was initially going to use that and then move to side control or mount, but once I started pulling, I noticed that he was in pain, so I cranked it with all my might, and he tapped. I intended to excite, and I hope I didn't disappoint.

Reporter: Well there you have it folks. Prime Time wins with a powerful first round submission. You have a bright future ahead of you, good luck!

Prime Time: Thank you. To my future opponents, "I crank necks and shit!! LOGO, watch out, I'm coming!"

On today's edition of MMArmy Live. kenny and Bas talk to former collegiate wrestling standout Cody Brown about his newly forming MMA career.
Kenny Rice: Welcome. People, goats, and other animals Bas Rutten dreams of.
Bas Rutten: Kenny is you were a sheep I'd love to make you BAHHH BAHHHH BAHH
Kenny Rice: Well today bas we're here with Cody Brown; heard of him?
Bas Rutten: I have heard of him. Before the show I talked to his camp coach and manager. Coach Taps. He was really excited to get another HW in one of his immediate camps. He says Cody has the potential to cmpete at the highest level
Kenny Rice: Cody, alot has been speculated about your future in MMA; especially since your College Wrestling career was outstanding. How can you justify the mediocre MMA crossover you've experienced?
Cody "Cod Lock" Brown: Kenny, it's just one of these things that I can't explain. I have a strong background in collegiate level wrestling which i thought would give me a leg up on some of the newer fighters entering the sport. My record at this point is 3-2; and I'm looking to fight every month in the smaller organizations to gain some cage experience and keep improving my submission game.
Bas Rutten: You mentioned your collegiate wrestling experience. If you could tell us something that maybe no one knows about you?
Cody Brown: Well as a child and on into my teens I actually trained Martial Arts.
Kenny Rice: What discipline was that?
Cody Brown: Machida Karate.
Kenny Rice: Well folks it's time for a commercial break. We'll be back more with Cody Brown.
This episode of MMArmy Live is brought to you by
BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Keep a 6 pack on hand just in case
BZZZ
Bas Rutten: BAHHH FUCK *swat* *Right Straight* *Bing* Fucking bee.
Kenny rice: We're back with Cody Brown. Logo's newest HW.
Bas Rutten: So Cody you say you've studied under the MAchida's?Wow that's quite impressive. So seeing as how you've got a wrestling background and also have decent knowledge of Karate; what's up with this average start? shouldn't you be booming out of the gates.
Cody Brown: My only 2 losses are to the same opponent. A MudSluts fighter, Jacques Lacroix. He has a little more experience than me. I've saw him train in the gym he's no more talented than myself in any aspect. I actually have much better striking ability but seeing as how he's a JJ fighter I decided to take more advantage of my wrestling ability and try to neutralize his submission game.
Kenny Rice: But Cody you're both purple belts, why try to neutralize his jiu jitsu and not take advantage in knowing you're the better wrestler and also as versed in the submission game.
Cody Brown: Kenny, you never know how these judges are going to score the fight. I took him down, worked in his guard, stayed very active and both losses were by SPlit decision.
Bas Rutten: Yeah, those judges are really horrible at this level in MMA. Most don't have much knowledge of Mixed Martial Arts.
Cody Brown: That's true Bas but I can't fault the judges I am the only person that can control half of the fight besides my opponent. I should've been more prepared and also tried to get a few fights against opponents more around my level of skill before I went in for the rematch against Jacques. It's just a mental thing seeing as how I lost the first by Split Decision I figured being mroe active in his guard would've turned the decision around the next fight. But like I said. I fault no one but myself. I'm just trying to keep my learning up to par right now and get as much as experience as possible.
Kenny Rice: Well you've heard it folks. We're wrapping it up with Cody Brown. We hope to see you in the future with much bigger organizations and we'd like to wish you the best. SO Bas how's it go.
Bas Rutten: Party ON!!! And GODSPEEDDDDD!

After an 0-2 start, Brett Leclerc (AKA Ass Chin) puts one in the win column.
