Cal "The Career Killer" Butler made headlines this week with his fifth, first round submission finish. This impressive victory however is shadowed by his previous 2 losses, both by decision.
During his post fight interview, when asked about his first 2 controversial losses Cal had this to say.
"After i finished my contract at WCA I went back home to Hawaii to consider the 2 generous offers I got from Logo and LotC and to prepare for my next fight. The day i signed the Logo contract I went to my nephew's little league game. The kid is a slugger." Cal said laughingly.
"The little bastard hit me square in the face with a line drive. I fight 185 pound guys on a monthly basis and never go to sleep but leave it to a damn 13 year old to knock me clean out. I didn't feel right for those fights after that but I'm 100% now."
Just after his last loss a video of the
fateful concussion causing line drive was found scattered around the internet.
