Here's my opinion on this.
When you have a competition that has a specific entry date and start date, and everybody in the field has to decide which of their recruits they have to chose by that certain date, to allow people to enter after that date does give them an advantage. Lots of people don't have the recruit option, and they have to make do with what they have by the entry cut off date. To allow people to continue to recruit and enter after that date is unfair to everybody who already entered their fighters. If all I get are garbage recruits up to the cut off date and I want to enter I'd have to pick one of them, who knows if the next day I get a monster recruit, or the day after, or whenever, it makes it unfair to make everybody but 1 or 2 people have to enter their fighters by a certain date. I haven't followed this whole thing but I do know the MCC thread was up for a couple weeks and there's really no reason why anybody who wanted to participate couldn't have had their fighter posted sometime before the cut off date. Even if you don't agree, the rules are there, very clearly and everybody else seemed to be able to get their fighters posted in time. The same thing has happened a few times before resulting in the same action, it shouldn't be a surprise or a problem. It has nothing to do with increasing the odds of winning or anything stupid like that.

I'm not sure what Crip is talking about in his situation (no offense), but to have 2 fighters you're trying to decide between and you choose 1, fight them both then try and change them because 1's better than the other is obviously totally not fair.

The competitions started and it doesn't look like all the complaining is going to change things this time around. Maybe you guys should PM your suggestions on how GF could improve the MCC next time around, but for now why not just let the people who are in it have fun participating.
