A couple of the chubbier guys I've faced have tapped out to a body triangle. It was either tap or pass out, so I don't blame them.

Body Triangles aren't much but if the guy using it has muscular legs then yes they are very dangerous.

Ugh, from a body triangle? I've gone to sleep from an arm triangle and damn near went out inside a leg triangle (refusing to tap with 20 seconds left and up on points), but those are blood chokes. A body triangle is a wind choke and and rib crusher, really painful. People panic when it comes on tight.

I don't use a lot of leg strength. It's all about placement and leverage. The best body triangles aren't from directly behind. I like to cut the angle a little bit so the sharp part of the back of my runs right across the floaters. Then I break 'em flat with a power half, hip in, grab my own free foot and pull it tight. Not much muscle involved.

Yes body triangles are deadly... But Blaze I've never heard of a leg triangle, or is that just a triangle from guard? Or something much more difficult?

Just a triangle from guard, though I'll lock 'em up (and sometimes finish them) from mount or side control too.
