Well you learn with experience. As for wanting any help, there is a general "which stats go with which styles" thread, and I made a "style vs style" thread.
Since you have your own experiences, that should help.
And if you ever need encouragement, look at the top fighters. Some of them had pretty shitty records at certain points in their careers, but they came back strong and dominated.
Yeah, that's true, but they also probably had good recruits to help with sparing, and get them the equip. I doubt the top fighters of today are products of camps with less than Average equip.
I'll see what I can do to better my defense against some of these bad match-ups that want to fight me at all times, and pray that I can get some big enough contracts to make the grinding for better equip a less stressful one. Relying on one fighter to make me money isn't really a good thing, but it's the only option I have until I get a good recruit to help out with the grind.
