This is the first ever Alliance League Season! It is a ten weekend, round robin style league that takes place every weekend in the GEC. It's like an Alliance war every weekend! The season starts March 4th.


Here are the alliances:


Truly Hated Champions - In capturing a win in the last WAC, and dominating in the first ever Alliance Grand Slam in their first appearance, they proved that newer was better. Will the added pressure of a target on their back as the team to beat be too much, or will they prove that they were no one hit wonder, and rule the next few weekends as well?

Drunken Bum Alliance - They surprised everyone but themselves when they took second in the last WAC, and a solid third for the Grand Slam. Having some of the most loyal, and consistent coaches in the game has proven to be successful for these wobbly warriors. Will their consistency get them #1 this time, or will they once again fall pray to one of the flashier alliances?

The Lebowski Crime Syndicate - Placing third in the last WAC, and fourth in the Alliance Grand Slam showed that they were no longer the dominate team of old. The once mighty giant had been dissected so, TLCS has hired The Company to put it back together. Will the infusion of new blood be enough to wake the sleeping giant, or will it stumble and fall under it's own weight?

tttnwmywyssbdacbjfc - TTT placed second, but looked poised to take first in the Alliance Grand Slam, until they took a disappointing fifth place in the WAC. This alliance hosts several of the founding fathers of MMArmy and some of the popular styles we use today were cracked by coaches in TTT. So, will the strategy of the big brains in TTT make the grade and finish the course, or will the newer, larger alliances be too much homework?

Gladiator Coalition - Formed after the last WAC these guys have yet to compete in the Big One. That doesn't mean that they won't be competitive in their first time around the block. Boasting some of the hottest 8pt/HKK coaches in the game, these guys will be looking to punch and kick their way through your roster. Can this alliance strike their way to victory with stats, and style, or will their first time prove to be more bark then bite?

Merchants of Death - This brand new alliance contains a good array of active members, with different styles. They have a daunting task ahead of them facing the entire array of experienced alliances with experienced coaches. However, they have the knowledge that THC did it their first time, so anything is possible. So, will the youngest alliance run circles around the older, overrated counterparts, or will it simply cower in the corner pooping it's diapers?


Here are the Rules:

-This is a round-robin style season.
-Each Alliance will face each other twice.
-All fights take place in the GEC.
-Non title fights only. No exceptions.
-Rosters due each Friday, before Sat AM reset. This can be extended if both opponents agree to it.
-No changes to rosters after they have been submitted. No exceptions.
-All fights must take place before the conclusion of Sunday's PM reset. This can be extended if both opponents agree to it.
-There will be no changes to any of these rules after the season has started.

Rosters
-Each alliance will attempt to submit one fighter per weight class (HW,LHW,MW,WW,LW) each Friday (5 fighters).
-One fighter per coach.
-All fighters must be able to sign into, and fight in the GEC before the Sunday deadline.

Scoring
The season is based on points, not wins. The alliance with the most points at the end of the season is the champion.
-Win = 2pts per fight. Highest total possible is 10pts per week.
-Loss = 1pt per fight.
-For each weight class that an Alliance fails to fill will be 0 points. If you fail to turn in a roster it will be 0 for all 5 fighters. Fill up your roster the best you can. A loss is better then nothing.
-If a submitted fighter fails to fight by the Sunday deadline it is a loss.
-If a submitted fighter retires before his scheduled fight it is a loss.
-In the event of a tie at the end of the season a playoff round will be played.

Reward
-First, second, and third place will receive medals.
-The order each Alliance finishes will be their seeding in the WAC.
-The WAC will occur 2 weeks after the champ has been crowned.
