I know the style, itself doesn't work against PG, but with it as a secondary style, it actually has worked out for Smith. Don't ask how, because I couldn't tell ya'. It's the oddest thing, because I really expect him to be losing more of those bouts with the PG guys, but instead he ends up submitting or KOing them. Maybe it's a hidden stat, "fattie cannot be submitted by puny Brazilian grappling technique, and will slam, punch, kick, stomp and KOTFO his way to victory."

Some of my fights against PG I'll actually just go straight up PL's the whole way through, but there's been success with SiO as a secondary style. And I'm sure it's kicked in in some of those bouts, as well.

Playing as PG I'm constantly thinking of changing into something else since 90% of the players have gnp :P

Maybe because a lot of people that go PG/FS make one dimensional fighters and end up having trainers with 4.0 star stats whereas regular people who actually factor in MIXED MARTIAL Arts become more diverse while suffer from weaker trainers.

nae I think its mostly because GnP / SiO is very popular atm.

From what I've noticed, there's a lot more PG forcing the field to supply more GnP. I rarely see any SiO fighters, but then again most people just work on Wrestling for that style, neglecting Judo completely.

I've started noticing some great success within my camp's CS fighters beating out FS fighters. PG is trickier, but it can be done, though.

I'm of the mind that versatility wins more than single dimension fighters, and my fighters who switch well are seeing more success than my one dimensional fighters. Hell, there's no better jack of all trades in my camp than Kotoku. PG, FF, CS, SiO, GnP, SnB, PL - he can do it all, apparently. That's always nice to have, as you can style switch just about anyone to try and get a better result. Just gotta have 2 styles under your hat for better success; a third just gives you room to play around with other fight offers.

Truth be told the view on this is probably colored by what kind of a camp you have... since I have a mostly pg and one mostly cs camp I feel like everyone does either GnP and/or SiO. Thats my guess anyways. And about CS guys to me its been the other way around... much more success vs PG than FS. Oh well :p

Man I feel I got robbed of a win just now. I think it should of been a decision in my favor. This guy lands 2 shots in the 2nd round and 1 low kick in the 3rd.

Crazy how tough it is to find a fight these days,takes me sometimes 2 real days for me to get someone to accept a fight for my vets,but my newer guys always get flooded with challenges from fighters with alot of fights already and my small guy gets a bunch of challenges from 170 pound guys cutting into LW,at least the random SoCat MW title shot i challenged for was accepted and i lost by a decision (not by KO!) to a guy that was 10 times better then me so thats somewhat of a plus to know i can hang with the big dogs.
