The submission thing is true, but not what i was getting at. Just because someone has more JJ wins, means nothing toward their skills. They could be mediocre in JJ, but face someone worse and submit them. That doesnt mean that they are particularly good, it just means that they were better than who they faced. Submissions definately do not revolve entirely around JJ, but in the game, the only submission disciplines are JIU JITSU, and sambo and judo. meaning these are the only things available to train in for submission skill. I dont know what else to train a submission fighter in except these submission disciplines. Unless American Submission Wrestling is incorporated, or catch wrestling or shoot wrestling, then these are the only attributes pertaining to submissions.
As for the physical attributes, yeah he was a little weak for PL as a primary style, but he was PG as a secondary, which he should revert to win the primary fails. Because he is weaker and not as fast as another fighter, shouldnt necessarily mean that he has a poor chance at victory. At some point technique overcomes strength and speed. Anyone ever heard of a guy name Royce Gracie? I think that was his name. Not the fastest or the strongest, but i think hes kinda good at submitting people..
The last i checked, GnP was intended as pounding. while on the ground. not primarily a submission technique, but possibly to use submission knowledge as a defense.
