Also Amen to everything Reckoner said about having to deal with guys with outrageously high stats even in the lowest of orgs. I know it probably is funny to the vets who can dominate (can crush)in the lower orgs but in all seriousness if this game is ever gonna grow it has to be fun for both vets and noobs to play. A fun, fair, competitive even playing field for vet and noob alike can easily be achieved. I think a big part of the problem is a lot of people don't want the game to grow and don't want the increased competition it would bring. See for example that fact that many if not most (with a few notable exceptions) outright refuse to answer newb questions in the Forums (especially regarding styles/style matchups).

I need to vent over the Power Locks style on this game. It's pathetic how a guy with 3 in Sambo, 3 in Strength, and less than 1 in everything else...

can beat a G&P that has 3.5 in Strength 3.5 in Wrestling, 3.25 in Speed, 3 in Brawling, 3 in Power, 3 in Boxing, 3 in Footwork, and 2.75 in Reflex

Isn't that kind of fucked up? I've put all that work into building my fighter's stats up that high and he doesn't get a title shot because of an unrealistic sytlistic loss.

But was there a huge weight difference? Or maybe the PL guy just has sick hiddens (jaw).

Having said that, some style advantages are really obscene.
