Tell me about it! Any suggestions? Any help would be appreciated, I'm totally stumped on with what to do with him.

Just bad luck.

I don't think the style choices were bad, you were just outmatched.

GODAMN YOU HARRY POWELL! YOU USED TO BE GOOD. YOU F*CKING SUCK NOW!!!

Look at this pathetic losing streak:

http://mmarmy.com/fighter_record.php?id=98201

He got finished in every fight except one.

That's not too bad, just stick with it. Check out this losing streak: 2-11 in 13 fights with a 7 fight losing streak, I was FREAKING out. There's a thread about it somewhere in the General Help forums. Anyway, now he's the GLORY LW champ.

On the other hand, Powell might be experiencing the dreaded late-career collapse, like Hector's guy Vega did, or like my fighter Lupus. It hurts to watch him just fall apart like this, I'd rather he retired.

I feel like Ken Shamrock since the update. The game has passed me by and I need to retire, but I refuse and continue getting my ass handed to me. Can't blame retirements or bad recruits because everyone goes through that and the top camps have still stayed on top. Guess I got lucky with a couple of fighters.

The top camps haven't STAYED on top, they've revolved through. It seems like my guys are on top all the time, but that's 'cause I have THREE CAMPS. Where's Workhorse MMA? In a rebuilding stage, Fedyakin is just not back on top, Consortium had a rough period.

Be patient and keep working on strategies. Specifically, think about which fighters switch well and how to build fighters that can 1/2 combo to cover for weaknesses with two styles that share a lot of required stats. It can make up for a lot, especially for a fighter with a good chin.

Thanks for the advice. Here is an example of poor coaching.

Now he's not the biggest ww but he's not small either. He's been submitted once and ko'd once and I've never got him close to a major belt. I guess I have to be more selective with my fights. I'm easily goaded into fights I shouldn't take.

He's in the same point a few of my guys were (most of them are retired now), pretty good at a LOT of areas, but not good enough to win even with style advantage. It sucks, especially since it's always at the end or a fighter's career.

My next generation of fighters is a lot more tightly focused in training to prevent the same problem down the line. That's why I suggested thinking about good 1/2 combos with a lot of stat overlap.

I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks for the advice, it's much appreciated.
