Him having better stats and a little bit of luck?

Does the play by play mean nothing because if you're looking at that he did nothing in the match because all he did was make his way back to standing in the 1st rd. and throw a punch that didn't land in the 2rd, and in the 3rd. he landed a kick to the arm.

Once again this isn't really a bullshit call.

Starting out with styles CS and 8pts are roughly even, so that's not an issue.

So looking at stats, lets break it down into rough looks at what each style requires.

8pts: MT, Speed, Power, Footwork

CS: Boxing, Reflex, Footwork, Speed

Obviously, your MT is .25* above his boxing and as both are presumedly primaries, would seemingly give you the advantage.

However, your only other stat that seems relevant above 2* is your power, where as he has footwork and reflex both above it. Reflex is more or less a primary for CS, so he now has the stat advanatge. Quite simply, other than boxing your 8pts stats are far from brilliant... and his CS stats are just about better.

Beyond all that however is the small matter of...

24lbs weight difference!

When there's a weight difference of anything above 10lbs you have to expect to lose some close decisions in fights you should win. When there's a 20lbs+ weight difference, you have to expect to some finishes in fights you should .

When there's a 24lbs weight difference and you are probably behind on stats, being finished is the most likely result.

Every single goddam one of my JJ guys got raped by G&P today.
Usually have have a pretty good record fighting it but today was just frustrating.
Funny how my JJ guys couldn't get a single fight from anything buy G&P.
Gotta love all the players that do nothing but hunt for fights with a style advantage. And there are a lot of them. In my opinion, that shit is as bad as ducking.

Thats great for the higher levels, but it is pretty tough to have a new guy thats proficient in many skills. My complaint is that so many players only look for advantages in fights because they don't want their records blemished.
I say, "Grow a goddam pair and accept/make a challenge may seem a bit risky."
Every day I log on, see several challenges to JJ guys, and already know its a bunch of G&P guys. Now I'm denying fights, which I don't like doing. But I really don't think all of my up and coming JJ fighters should have shitty records because because a bunch of "skilled strategists" have figured out they can have a decent record with their G&P guys if they specifically seek out FS & PG fighters.
Whatever happened to challenging a guy because you think he's well trained and want to test your guy against him?
