Chief, please do not award me a medal; thank you. Congrats to the other 7 who beat out 6 others (the amount that actually finished) through their hard work of fighting one reset a day. Specially congrats to the guy that didn't have anyone else in his division!

Explain to me please why this bothers you so much. Am i missing something here?

Because there was already a question if enough people competed to make it medal worthy.

There are a lot of veteran camps/high level players that only have a coupe medals. This makes it a lot easier to earn a medal.

The medals lose their worth if over half of the people participating the event receive one. Plus as the 8th seed beating the 1 seed in the playoffs means nothing at that point.

Most divisions had 2 people, some had 3, 1 had 1, so essentially you are awarding a medal for a 1-3 man tournament just because the tournament lasted 10 days.

Where as awarding the finalist in the playoffs with gold and silver, you are awarding the the top 2 of basically an 8 man tournament those 8 beating the best out of 14.

then bronze would be highest rank, best of regular season out 14. Not giving medals for beating one other guy in your division.


On top of it just being dumb to give medals to everyone, awarded me a medal for being a BL wild card instead of BL finalist is silly.


I already said though that it's J bear's tournament you should agree to his medal scheme if you choose to award medals at all. I just thinks it's ridiculous and hope more tournaments don't come with similar medal schemes to make getting medals easier because I see them as a big deal.

To show that I was motivated about making medals harder to get in general I agreed to not accept a medal and I stand by that.

How noble. Get over it.
