The Gathering of The Immortals


As ATTBoxer strikes down the LW champion, he suddenly sees a flash of lightning, and feels a surge of power. Little does he know that he has set into motion an irreversible chain of events. The Gathering..




The Gathering is a subconscious summoning effect which occurs in order to force Immortals together, to participate in "the Game" It is not known how exactly the Gathering begins, but the end result is always the same: Immortals feel an almost irresistible urge to seek out their own kind and issue challenges. Battling to the DEATH

Now 8 of the strongest warriors will be drawn together to battle it out until there is ONE remaining. The winner of this tournament will be dubbed "The Kurgan" and will face off against "The Highlander" ATT in a final battle for "The Prize"

ATT: As the winner of the first part of the event, you will automatically advance to face the winner of the Tournament of 8. That and you have already guaranteed yourself a Medal. It will now be up to you to determine if that medal will be for 1st or 2nd place.


[ I hope you all haven't had your fill of KUMITE because this will be an 8-man tournament to the death. We should be able to handle the tournament on the active game side, and not rely on the buggy tournament feature. The seeding of the tournament will be completely random.

Keep checking in throughout the day to see if your fighter has been called to The Gathering. (Hint: if you're in EFC or PREL, you are probably in.]

Cool thing that this dude just made it to prel, probably won't get drawn though, because he's shit.

Thanks Biz, I'd appreciate that alot. Unfortunately one or two guys that are deserving might not make the final cut, but because this idea is not perfectly fail-safe. There is a small chance an alternate will be needed. (I.E.: if someone retires tonight or tomorrow) After that you may do with your fighter what you will.

The chains are off! Fighters will be allowed to switch in these final battles if they so choose. Whether or not that's a good idea will be up to them to decide.

I will endeavor to make sure everyone is aware of this.
