SP - The Natural 16.1 IP, 16 HA, 7 ER [ERA:3.86] C - Alfonso Perez 0/6 [.000] 1B - Beachboy 0/6 [.000] 2B - Christopher "The Saint" Peterson 1/7 [.142], 1 HOMERUN, 1 RBI, 1 RUN 3B - Virtanen 0/5 [.000] SS - Javier Rios 0/6 [.000] LF - Shane Hayes 0/6 [.000] CF - Daniel "San" Cheng 1/6 [.166], 1 TRIPLE RF - Fabian "Fabulous" Vargas 0/6 [.000] DH - "The Monster" 0/7 [.000] UT - Bo Bryant 0/1 TEAM: 2/56 [.035] 0 DOUBLES, 1 TRIPLE, 1 HOMERUN, 1 RBITOP PITCHER: Todd "The Natural" Elliot
TOP BATTER: Christopher "The Saint" PetersonSUMMARY: The Goodfellows were almost mirror images to the Power Rangers throughout the season. Both teams were inept behind the plate, but were able to remain competitive do to strong pitching. The Goodfellows were staunchly socially active this year. Taking knees at the beginning of games and sometimes not even bothering to report for a single at bat. So bad was the weather in their games however, and so good was their pitching that they were able to stall out most of their games and ended up drawing more games then they won or lost. The players received numerous fines, and warnings from Comissioner Dana Manfred, but in the end their lack of DEFINITIVE losses, and their 1 run scored put them just a hair above the Rangers for 4th place.

TOP BATTER: Frye "The Phantom" MooreSUMMARY: For the Green Leafs it was a tale of two teams throughout the season. Both Teams featured the most feared starter going into the league, the mighty Mauro Castro, and he was phenomenal throughout the year. His one major hiccup came early on against the now defunct Bunthole Stretchers, when he coughed up 4 runs in the 1st inning. After the team was able to rally back and win, it appeared the Leafs were the team of destiny. They had an effective lineup, and when they hit the ball they hit it hard. 90% OF THEIR HITS WENT FOR EXTRA BASES DURING THE SEASON!. So what happened? It's hard to put the blame on one thing in particular, but this much is true: The Leafs 2 toughest games were at the end of the season, and their lineup fizzled out in the end. Castro, and Mystic Mac gave us one of the best pitching duels of the season, but in the end the Bums got the upper hand thanks to a walk off double from crusty veteran Cosmas Athanas. Castro continued to impress in his final game holding the juggernaut SFL Dragon offense to just 1 run, but that one run was all they needed. When all is said and done, the Green Leafs have a lot to be proud of this season, but there will definitely be a few moments that they will go back and wonder, "What if?"

TOP BATTER: Mason "Smickhouse" ScottSUMMARY: The Bums were absolutely fabulous for 80% of the season, and spectacularly godawful for 20% of it. All things considered the Assholes were a remarkably effective team. They had a bit of drama early in the year when one of their players walked off the team, but they were able to effectively fill his shoes by luring Cosmas Athanas out of retirement (A move that would pay huge dividends towards the end of the season) The Bums didn't set the world on fire with their offense, but they did manage to hit a respectable .200 as a team, which was all the offense they needed in most cases for their superstar ace, Mystic Mac, who was sensational all year. Double M was a contending POTY candidate as he coughed up only 2 runs in one game throughout the entire season. The Bums low point of the season came against the eventual champion Dragons, in a nightmare of a game that saw them give up 6 HOMERUNS, and 10 Runs overall. The teams manager went into a panic after Mystic Mac looked a bit off, and soon learned that his bullpen was not up to snuff. Still.... The Bums overall numbers are noticeably hurt from that one game. Their team stats don't jump off the page overall, but strike that one game from the record and they are easily the second place team.

Simply put: The Dragons were the best team all season, and no one could even hold a candle to them. It' is not an exaggeration at all to say that EVERY SINGLE ONE of their positions players could have been the MVP of multiple if not every team. SFL rolled behind the man who would end up being the Pitcher of the Year giving up only a single run, and pitching 3 no hitters. They weren't shy in their support either scoring an average of over 5 runs per game. Congrats to the SFL DRAGONS! They were the team of destiny in this Inaugural year of Basebrawl.
