Thanks for running the event Captain. Was a lot of fun, ran smoothly as possible in the face of challenges, lot of cool details like the inning writeups. Good event.

Thanks a lot for all the kind words you guys. I feel like all things considered I got very little push back on this event, and y'all were very supportive every step of the way. I know this was an ambitious (Convoluted) event, but honestly, that's just my style. I'm an epic game kind of guy. No Shoots and ladders or Checkers for me. I like big epic games that take up entire tables. Risk, DnD etc. etc. More is better as far as I'm concerned, but I did my best to try and make it less cumbersome on you guys. When I started up this event I had 2 main goals:

1) To preside over it with Autonomy. I didn't want to have to double back and ask Chief over every little thing or rule or dispute. I wanted my event to be run by me, and for better or worse that definitely happened. So Hats off to Chief for letting me roll, and thanks to you guys for going along with my rulings.

2) To have this be an event like those ones that people pull up from years ago and say "Man remember that one? That was cool!" It didn't end up being the perfect event like I wanted it to be, but I'm hoping that time will dull the memory of when it dragged, and people will mostly remember the good parts of it.

All in all It was a lot of fun, (for me anyway) and it's absolutely a concept that could be repeated in the future to much greater effect with just a few simple tweaks. (Pitching Limitations!!!)

NOW WITHOUT FURTHER ADO.... LETS TAKE ONE FINAL LOOK AT HOW THE TEAMS FARED OVERALL THIS SEASON, AND PRESENT THE INAUGURAL TROPHIES OF EXCELLENCE!

SP - Clive Martel - 20 IP, 18 HA, 7 ER [ERA= 3.15]

C - Jalal Curtis - 0/6 [.000]

1st - Butch Allen - 0/4 [.000]

*2nd - Randy LaVoie - 1/8 [.125], 1 DOUBLE

SS - Guto Aranha - 0/7 [.000]

3rd - Ray Rogers - 0/7 [.000]

LF - Brian Teng - 0/7 [.000]

*CF - Kit Pelletier - 1/5 [.200]

RF - Bruce Wellen - 0/7 [.000]

DH - Damarco Rogers 0/5 [.000]

UT - Reynaldo Azevedo 0/4 [.000]

UT - Scott Lambet 0/2 [.000]

TEAM: 2/52 [.038] 1 DOUBLE, 0 TRIPLES, 0 HOMERUNS, 0 RUNS

TOP PITCHER: Clive Martel

TOP BATTER: Randy Lavoie

SUMMARY: It was a tough year for the CC Power Rangers. They were the least effective team behind the plate, and never were able to really get anything going all season. Indeed, Randy "Ladyboy" LaVoie's Double early on in the season was the closest they ever came to sniffing a run. As a team they batted a miserable .038 with that lone extra base hit, and scored zero runs on the season. Despite going winless throughout the year. The Rangers were actually remarkably effective on Defense. They rode on the back of their workhorse starter Clive Martel who put in 20 innings of work this season. Martel gave up his share of hits, scattering 18 throughout the season, but never relinquished a home run. The Rangers made many impressive plays in the field to back up their pitcher but in the end, you can't win any games scoring 0 runs.
