JSCRAP - BW - Edwin MACLEAN vs. Gabe ANDERSSONWill Gabe ever grow up? He has all the talent when it comes to submissions, but continues to hit the beach more than the gym. He surfs and stays flexible through yoga, but it hasn't been enough to get noticed by ABC. He has a good 4 fights remaining so we try not to worry too much about that ... I want Gabe to develop. Edwin is undefeated, 2-0, in his pro career so far so it should be a good place to test Gabe's skills out right? Lets go! Round 1Edwin presses forward and grazes Gabe with a combo. Gabe wants none of the stand up and clinches with Edwin to then savagely throw him down to the ground. "Vegan Surfer" stands over MacLean, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. MacLean is able to grab an arm and pull "Vegan Surfer" into his guard. Andersson takes advantage of a mental laps from MacLean and moves into full mount. MacLean gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Andersson peppers shot to the head of Edwin MacLean looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Edwin MacLean is hand playing well. Edwin MacLean starts to wiggle out of back control, Andersson lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Round 1 comes to a close.
"Great work Gabe! Always take advantage of his position on the ground. He's no match for you so keep applying pressure by threatening the choke." Round 2After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Edwin works to Anderssons back while standing. Edwin throws a couple of outside shots until "Vegan Surfer" is able to work his way back to the clinch. Edwin MacLean grabs the plum and pulls Anderssons face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Edwin MacLean lets go of the hold and lands a hook. MacLean lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Andersson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Edwin MacLean lands a hook to the body. Gabe Andersson throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by MacLean. MacLean lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Gabe Andersson on his back. A solid kick bruises the leg of "Vegan Surfer". The round comes to an end.
"Don't fucking play his game man, he's going to kick the shit of you if you stay standing. Round is even but you know the gameplan. Get out there." Round 3After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Andersson works to Edwins back while standing. Andersson throws a couple of outside shots until Edwin is able to work his way back to the clinch. MacLean drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Vegan Surfer" sets a guillotine choke but MacLean slips out at the last moment. MacLean is now caught in guard. Andersson starts to lock a triangle. Edwin postures up and Edwin settles for a few stiff chops to "Vegan Surfers" face. Gabe starts to lock a triangle. Edwin postures up and Edwin settles for a few stiff chops to Anderssons face. "Vegan Surfer" fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of MacLean. "Vegan Surfer" attempts an armbar from the bottom, but MacLean slips out at the last moment. The bell signals the end of round 3.
It was solid work from both fighters, so I feel it's up in the air. Gabe didn't eat many strikes and controlled the ground--Being the only with any real threat. Edwin did well on defense but that's all he did. Lets go to the judges. ResultGabe "Vegan Surfer" Andersson wins by Unanimous Decision ABC - HW - Carl WANG (C) vs. Otto SIMMONSCarl's first defense of his Heavyweight title in the ABC organization. Simmons is riding a 6 fight win streak and has only lost once, looking to be a formidable opponent. Carl keeps taking this abuse and comes back repeatedly. I'm quite impressed, having never though he would make it this far but his heart goes a long way. Preliator gave me a call and said they want to sign him if he can defend his title. Regardless of how he wins. Round one was pretty .. Surprising. Carl lands with a double jab, circling his opponent with a mix of punches and kicks. Otto responds with a kick, and then hook to the head. Carl unleashes a few body shots that forces Simmons' back against the cage, before Carl swims to double underhooks and takes him down!
"Lovely work, Carl. Bring the fight to him, buddy. You won that round, just need to get going through a few more. Two and you lock up the decision."
The two fighters end up in a clinch, but Carl gets his head under Otto's chin to land some quality piston shots. However, Otto lands a good elbow that sends Carl stumbling! Crud! Simmons lands a massive strikes while landing into guard. Carl, however, endured well by driving elbows to the head of Otto.Carl tries to get the armbar, but Otto has some masterful work getting out of it with an overhand to Carl. Owch. They exchange ground strikes, but I feel Carl gets the better of that. The round is ending so I prepare with Charlie to enter the ring and ... Otto dropsa long punch--Mistake one. Carl throws the leg over into an armbar. Simmons tries to hang on, but has to tap! Convincing win from the Gentle Giant!Your winner by submission through an armbar, and STILL ABC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! ... Carl "Gentle Giant" Wang wins by Submission (Armbar) Carl inks the deal with Preliator, but still keeps a part time position in the construction company he had worked in. Maybe Wang could make this into a productive career to support his family. Wang goes up-- Danielsson has yet to win, but can Carl?

Mixed EmotionsPREL - HW - Carl WANG vs. Preston REEVESCarl's debut in Preliator, and our Gentle Giant is still on a winning streak. Reeves is an elite in combat sambo and should be a great test for Carl--In which I hope he gets a legitimate shot at the title. It's about climbing and we need to be on top of that. Round 1Preston winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Gentle Giant" throws a cross that easily dodged by Preston. Wang throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Preston puts Wang on the mat giving his back up. Preston begins to look for a rear naked choke, but "Gentle Giant" rolls to being mounted instead. Preston punishes "Gentle Giant" with a series of strikes from the mount. Reeves jumps out of mount and back to dominant side control. The round comes to an end.
"Careful with your striking, get focused Carl! Bring the pressure to him, this is your big debut." Round 2A looping right hook from Wang sends Preston Reeves to the mat. Wang attempts to drop a fist on Preston Reeves, but misses and lands in his guard. Wang attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Preston Reeves slips out of it at the last moment. Carl Wang passes through Prestons guard into mount. Carl secures his position. Reeves gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Gentle Giant" begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Preston rolls to being mounted instead. Preston bucks off Wang sweeping him to his back and slickly transitions to side control. The round comes to an end.
"That's what i'm talking about! Knock that American on his ass and pressure for the submission. Don't let him back into the fight." Round 3Carl hits an uppercut to the head of Reeves followed by a hard hook. A couple of powerful body shots forces Preston Reeves back to the cage. Carl Wang swims to double underhooks. Preston Reeves cannot stop Carl Wang from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Preston Reeves shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Reeves sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Reeves maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Preston Reeves begins to lose position so switches back to side control.Round 3 comes to a close. ResultPreston Reeves wins by Unanimous Decision
What in the fuck? I honestly believe that Carl pretty much took 2 of the 3 rounds, but these judges didn't like Carl being inactive on the ground in the third. Frustrating but I have a lot of faith in Carl still. Win streak snapped, but my belief remains strong. He has EFC potential. With this result, Danielsson looks to return to form against an all around beast in the Flyweight division that is Sal Red Herring. LFC - FW - Charlie VINTER vs. Manabu TRENTINI Yeah, Charlie has been swapping between LFC and JScrap but we're looking to get him into legitimate form. While Danielsson and Wang have seen a great rise, Charlie and Gabe been stalling out in the lower divisions. Though, Charlie as still a CHAMPION! He just needs to get back there in body and spirit.Round 1Charlie Vinter throws a cross that easily dodged by Manabu. Charlie connects with a hard punch making Manabu bring him in to a tight clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Charlie Vinter works to Trentinis back while standing. Charlie Vinter throws a couple of outside shots until Trentini is able to work his way back to the clinch. Manabu Trentini takes Vinters back standing. Charlie Vinter isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Manabu Trentini lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Charlie Vinter to release. Manabu Trentini fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Charlie. Trentini lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Vinter dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Trentini standing over him. Manabu lays into Charlies thighs with some well timed kicks while Vinter is grounded. Trentini lays into Charlie with some stomps. Charlie can't handle it as the ref stops the fight. ResultManabu Trentini wins by KO (Stomps)
Just awful, especially seeing my childhood friend go down like that. Manabu wasn't even a super experienced opponent and completely took over the fight. I'll need to go back to the drawing board with my boy Vinter.

PREL - FLY - Sal HERRING vs. Sam DANIELSSONDanielsson hasn't had good luck in Preliator thus far, unable to pull through with a victory. He has been pretty disheartened after his decision loss to Dong Wan Song and hasn't shown the same dedication since. He went back to sleeping around with women rather than training strictly, but he has the 'IT' factor a lot of other fighters don't have. Round 1Danielsson stuffs a shot from "Red" and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Sal gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Sal Herring holds the head of Danielsson close to avoid shots. Danielsson slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Danielsson slips out of half guard and into side control. Sal takes a few knees to the body while under Sam Danielssons side control. Herring gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
"Great fucking work Sammy boy! Defend his attacks and take control of the match. Careful of his judo." Round 2Herring keeps Danielsson at a distance with some well timed jabs. Herring ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Danielsson to the mat, and his back. Sam Danielsson starts to wiggle out of back control, Herring lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Sam throws a crisp jab, but Herring slips it and moves in for the clinch. Both fighters jockeying for position in the clinch. Sal Herring pulls Sam Danielsson towards him and tosses him over onto his back with a beautiful Kata Guruma. Sal Herring falls into side control. Danielsson sneaks a leg back under the body of "Red" to achieve a defensive half guard. The round comes to an end.
"You can't let him do that to you, he's going to go for the clinch and try to score points with his takedowns. You were starting off well, but avoid the clinch. Either stand and bang, or tackle him down." Round 3A wild hook from Sal Herring is ducked by Sam who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Sam winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Sal snaps back the head of Sam with a stiff jab. Sam Danielsson attempts a striking combination, but Herring forces the clinch. "Red" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Sal Herring lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. As the fighters hold their over-unders, Sam Danielsson nearly takes Sals back while standing, but "Red" counters with a well-timed belt drop and he towers over Sam Danielsson. Round 3 comes to a close. ResultSal "Red" Herring wins by Split Decision
A tough decision loss, and Danielsson has yet to win a fight in Preliator. I decided to take him back to ABC so Sammy boy can find himself. He hasn't looked himself for several months. JSCRAP - BW - Gabe ANDERSSON vs. Adam BOWESI'm -STILL- waiting on Gabe to take MMA seriously, but it has honestly become a simple hobby for him as he just enjoys the beach. In fact? He spends more time prepping for surfing competitions than fights. Sigh.Round 1Bowes is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Andersson drops a huge strike to Adam Bowess chin, landing into his guard. Gabe Andersson passes through Adams guard into mount. Adam Bowes gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Andersson peppers Adam Bowes with several shots to the face. Giving up his back, Adam Bowes panics and gives up mount instead. Round 1 is finished.
"Keep fighting like that, we did nothing wrong there. No need to go fo the takedown, just strike as he won't expect i from you." Gabe came with some HEAT, beating on Bowes. Round 2A single-leg attempt is well defended by Gabe. Adam Bowes stands up, lifting the leg of Gabe and executing a trip takedown. Adam Bowes tries to move to half guard but Gabe Andersson uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Bowes takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Vegan Surfers" guard. It doesn't pay off as Gabe Andersson makes his way to standing. Adam throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Vegan Surfer" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Andersson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A shot from Adam is countered by a guillotine from Andersson. Adam follows through with a slam, landing in side mount, nullifying the choke. "Vegan Surfer" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Bowes slides his knee across the body of Andersson and takes full mount. Round 2 is over.
"You okay Gabe? That must sting! You did a good job trying to get off, but be careful of those secondary attempts. Final round upcoming, don't give up." Round 3The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Adam Bowes parries "Vegan Surfers" jab and connect with a cross. "Vegan Surfer" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Adam is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Andersson lands a double jab. Bowes connects with a strong body shot combo. Gabe loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Adam for the mistake. Adam has side control. Round 3 comes to a close. ResultGabe "Vegan Surfer" Andersson wins by Split Decision
Pheeewww. Gabe rocking the Canadian wrestler in the final round saved his bacon. Maybe he'll train more now that he's doing well .. Please?

Retirement PlansABC - Sam DANIELSSON vs. Adam MACDONAGHThose North Irishmen are some tough beasts, but with Danielsson returning to ABC it is only natural I test him out against a formidable opponent in Adam who is 6-2 in his MMA career thus far. Round 1Sam locks around the waist of Adam MacDonagh. He sneaks his foot behind MacDonaghs and trips him to the floor, taking side control. Sam Danielsson slides his knee across the body of MacDonagh and takes full mount. MacDonagh attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Adam gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Sam Danielsson works his arm around the neck of MacDonagh attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but MacDonagh hand fights well. Sam Danielsson peppers shots to the head of Adam and finds an opening to slide his arm under the neck for a tight choke. Adam struggles for a bit but has to tap out.
ResultSam Danielsson wins by Submission (Rear Naked Choke)
I rushed Danielsson, I realized that by seeing this fight. Although Preliator was a valuable experience for Sammy boy and the GYM ... I got too ahead of myself thinking he would be an instant start and lead us to another belt with ease. There's layers and for now? We'll work on Danielsson getting into proper shape. LFC - FW - Fritz HENDERSON vs. Charlie VINTERCharlie came off a devastating KO loss in his previous bout, and hasn't found his game yet since losing the JSCRAP FW belt but the entire gym helped him train for this bout and we're confident we can handle this English kid who is only 2-2 in his career. Lets go Charlie!Round 1Fritz lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. After dodging a jab-cross, Fritz Henderson lands a kick to the liver of Charlie Vinter who steps back and begins to take a knee. Fritz Henderson rushes forward to capitalize but Charlie Vinter stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Fritz connects with a hard punch making Charlie bring him in to a tight clinch. Charlie Vinter recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Charlie is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Fritz stands over Vinter, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Vinter is able to grab an arm and pull Fritz into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
We had our cutman on Vinter ASAP, Kevin putting ice on Charlie as I tried to work my usual magic. "Take this to the ground, his striking is just superior to your karate. Don't clinch, just use your wrestling to bring this to the mat and look for your usual hammerlock." Round 2Fritz Henderson tries to hyper extend the knee of Vinter with a kick to the kneecap. Vinter hops back to avoid it. Fritz connects with a series of punches forcing Charlie Vinter into a clinch. Charlie drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Henderson sets a guillotine choke but Charlie slips out at the last moment. Charlie is now caught in guard. Fritz Henderson backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Fritz connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Vinter is dazed on the mat. Henderson lays into Vinter with some stomps. Vinter can't handle it as the ref stops the fight. ResultFritz Henderson wins by KO (Stomps)
What? Stomps? Again? This Englishman and his camp studied Charlie well and implemented fierce tactics that had Vinter entirely outclassed. It wasn't close, and Charlie being the pro that he is? He knew that. We talked about this for a good hour until Charlie told me his decision.
"I'm going to retire after my contract is finished."
It's a good choice at this point. Charlie's body just can't keep up with his mind. He keeps getting abused and it might be best if he spends more time with his family. Vinter has 1 fight left on his contract, I just hope he doesn't get embarrassed again.

JSCRAP - BW - Gabe ANDERSSON vs. Channing SARTREThis Vegan fuckface has been making the headlines for ALL THE WRONG REASONS! He won a notional surfing competition and i've been having to kick all these flipping news reporters out of the gym-- Why can't Gabe be focused on fighting? Ahhh, I'll never understand. Next opponent is undefeated Frenchman known for his submission technique. Round 1The fighters circle each other. Channing connects with a hard punch making Gabe Andersson bring him in to a tight clinch. Sartre hops up throwing his leg over Anderssons arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Gabe to the mat. Round 2A welt begins to form under "Vegan Surfers" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Channing Sartre. Sartre throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Vegan Surfer" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Andersson executes a single leg giving him the back of Sartre. Gabe secures his position. Round 2 is over.
"Fucking Gabe. You're down 2 rounds and there's only one to go. The kill, I needy you to aim for the kill!" Round 3After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Sartre stomps the feet of Andersson. Gabe takes Channing Sartres back standing. Sartre isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Gabe lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Sartre to release. Gabe hops back to avoid it. "Vegan Surfer" snaps back the head of Sartre with a stiff jab. "Vegan Surfer" shoots a takedown from a distance putting Channing on the ground. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end. ResultGabe "Vegan Surfer" Andersson wins by Split Decision
Uhhh ... Uhhh? .... ???
I suppose it must have been that second round that's up for debate, but i'll take it. Really hate the win since Gabe will just think coasting is a good idea, but a win is a win." ABC - FLY - Sam DANIELSSON vs. Cas RIETVELDCas is a legitimate kickboxer with knock out power in both feet. Why did I decide to put Sammy boy up against him? Well ... He needs a challenge. I know deep down he wants to get back to Preliator and prove that he belongs-- He hasn't been finished in while and still shows flashes of brilliance. Round 1After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cas receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Cas Rietveld takes Sam's back standing. Sam Danielsson isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Cas Rietveld lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Sam Danielsson to release. Cas Rietveld connects with a jab cross combination. A wild hook from Cas is ducked by Sam Danielsson who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. After dodging a jab, Cas lands a kick to the ribs of Sam who winces in pain. Danielsson connects with a right that puts Cas off balance tumbling to the mat, as Danielsson towers over him. Sam Danielsson drops a powerful fist onto Cas Rietveld. Rietvelds eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over. ResultSam Danielsson wins by KO (Punch)
Beautiful and quick work by Danielsson who also has the capabilities to knock someone the fuck out! His versatility always amazes me, and I can see his impatience. Sammy boy wants to return to Preliator, but has one fight left. Finish that one and he'll be ready to go!

Farewell, CharliePREL - HW - Fumio ASAI vs. Carl WANGOur gym has yet to win in the Preliator organization, but we still have a shot. Asai is one of -the- premier jiu jitsu prospects in the entire world, appearing on several magazines for his amateur accomplishments. This Japanese BJJ expert has a weak enough chin that he gets knocked out silly at times, but he won't need to worry about that with Carl since he has no power beind his hands. Round 1Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Fumio Asai wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Carl. Asai slides his knee across the body of Wang and takes full mount. Asai secures his position. Fumio telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Carl gives up his back to stop the attempt. Carl presses his head into Fumio Asais chest, forcing him to the ground. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end. ResultCarl "Gentle Giant" Wang wins by Split Decision
That was not a split decision, which judge was high? Carl dominated rounds 2 and 3 but i'll take it. Fumio is tough, i'll give him that but Carl has NEVER been finished in his career so it's a good look for Wang. LFC - FW - Owen WATSON vs. Charlie VINTERCharlie final fight and I pray it goes well. He brought his own family here and looks to end his MMA career off on a positive note. I know little to nothing about Owen Watson, who will be making his pro debut, but this might be beneficial for Charlie. Vinter makes his rounds in the cage before waving to the crowd. Lets go! Round 1A trip to the ground allows Watson to move into the guard of Charlie. Owen drops a few strong punches, opening up Vinters guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Owen Watson telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Charlie gives up his back to stop the attempt. Vinter gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Owen Watson works his arm around the neck of Charlie Vinter attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Charlie Vinter hand fights well. Charlie eats a few stiff shots from Owen Watson, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. The round comes to an end.
"What the fuck are you doing Charlie? Look at me, Charlie. You want to go out like this? It's absolutely pathetic watching you out there right now. You're getting owned with your wife in the crowd there and you can't put up a fight? Get your head out of your ass. Sverige!" Round 2Vinter throws a cross that easily dodged by Owen. A trip to the ground allows Owen Watson to move into the guard of Vinter. Charlie Vinter shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Charlie Vinter attempts to lock in an armbar from the guard. Watson narrowly avoids it, but allows for Charlie Vinter to take mount. Watson shifts his head and hips to keep Charlie off balance and unable to land strikes. Vinter grabs an arm and swings over for a tight armbar. Owen taps out. ResultCharlie Vinter wins by Submission (Armbar)
Yes! Yes! Charlie pulled out a victory when things were looking grim. He shows flashes that he could have been great if his body hadn't seen so much wear and tear over the years, but i'm glad that he went out on a win.
"This comes with a heavy heart now that i'm retiring, but Owen is a great fighter and he'll be good in the future. I want to thank my beautiful wife for always supporting through tough times and Erik, my childhood friend, for giving me an opportunity to try and live out my dream. It sucks it has to end this early, but it's time for me to move on. Thank you, everyone. Thank you. " - Charlie Vinter, 7-8 Record, 2 Time JSCRAP FW Champion

We have 2 title shots coming up, one of them being a complete surprise. As disinterested as Gabe has been about fighting, he is on a 3 fight win streak and gets another shot at bringing in his first title. 3 of 4 of the fighters that have fought out of my gym have won a belt .. The only one that hasn't is Gabe! Preliator gave me a strange call but want Carl in the Preliator main event in Sweden for the title vacancy of the Heavyweight title. They liked what they saw in Carl with his fight against Fumio Asai, who is a high profile jiu jitsu specialist, and want to give him an opportunity. JSCRAP - BW - Title Vacancy - Gabe ANDERSSON vs. Bert STEVENSON Round 1Bert lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Andersson. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Bert lands a double jab. Stevenson throws a few jabs at "Vegan Surfer" that miss the mark. "Vegan Surfer" moves in to press the action, but Bert Stevenson lands a heavy back kick. Stevenson is staggered by a jab to the chin. The round comes to an end.
"Alright, good trades man. You've done some training with Charlie in dealing with karate fighters so keep TRYING to push the pace. Looking good Gabe." Round 2Bert throws a push kick. Gabe Andersson shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Bert Stevensons nose. "Vegan Surfer" lands a double jab. Andersson throws a cross that easily dodged by Stevenson. Bert connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gabe tries to hyperextend the knee of Bert with a kick to the kneecap. Bert hops back to avoid it. Bert Stevenson circles Gabe Andersson, then lands a push kick that knocks him to the floor. The bell signals the end of round 2.
"His traditional martial arts background is too much for you to stay standing, Gabe. Take him to the ground and do your work there." Round 3Andersson shoots a takedown from a distance putting Bert on the ground. Bert is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. "Vegan Surfer" sits up in Bert Stevensons open guard and spins to an leg lock. Stevenson is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing.
