JSCRAP - BW - So Min RHEE vs. Gabe ANDERSSON

Rhee makes his professional debut here in the JScrap BW division, but I knew this would be a relatively even fight for Gabe who was still getting some experience under his belt. Losing to Red Rum Robinson was tough, but here's another chance. Gabe didn't really train for this bout either, as usual so that gives me a bit of pause every time he fights.

Gabe manages a jab before executing a clean hip takedown, passing Rhee's guard but takes some punishment doing so though .. Gabe does land some nice shots, before Rhee scrambles out and escapes to his feet. Andersson does what he do best, goes for the takedown--Which is stuffed, but he is able to out muscle the Korean and takes the fight to the ground. He keeps active and peppers So Min with a few punches here and there before applying a RNC, which gets delayed by the Korean's hand movements but Gabe's abilities prove to be too much as he taps.



Back on track for Gabe, a pretty dominant performance. I talk to one of the Jscrap promoters backstage and he says that Feijo won't be able to take the fight so I have to prepare Vinter to handle the more experienced Lima Rua for his title defense.

Charlie better pull through, or he'll just be known as an average fighter. Glass chin but dynamite hands.
