Carl was on a tea with a 7 fight win-streak and experienced veteran and wrestler Shin No is completely aware of that. Shin No was on a 7 fight win streak of his own so this would be the ultimate test-- But I wasn't too worried about Carl. Shin No has fought over 60 fights!--Which is insane by the way. Preliator was starting to take notice of him and it might be time for the veteran to move up but first he has to get through Carl and Shin No has -NEVER- finished anyone in his pro MMA career.

"You're absolutely destroying him, up two rounds. I need you to bring him to the ground and actively look for the submission. Nice ground and pound." Well, the ground and pound is nice for points but WE all know Wang has very little power behind his fists.

"Keep the pressure up, suffocate him. You're not letting him do anything. Win one more round and hang in there for the submission."

Round 4

Shin No loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by "Gentle Giant" for the mistake. "Gentle Giant" has side control. Wang slides his knee across the body of Shin and takes full mount. Carl Wang secures his position. Shin No gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Shin carefully protects himself from "Gentle Giants" strikes. Shin tries to stand up but "Gentle Giant" plants him back down with several strikes. The bell signals the end of round 4.

The Champion seems gassed and is getting beat at his own game of decision winning. "You've won the fight, Carl. It's in the bag unless you get finished. Don't let it get there." I would normally ask him to go for the kill, but I don't want Carl to force a submission attempt and get something turned on him--Despite the Champion never finishing anyone before.

Round 5
Click to reveal..
Shin No catches a leg kick from Wang, and puts him on the mat. Carl Wang gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Shin is able to slip into mount from the half guard. No maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Carl Wang gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Shin peppers "Gentle Giant" with several shots to the face. Shin No lays into Wang with some strong shots forcing Wang to give up mount position. The bell signals the end of round 5.

Maybe I should have told Wang to be more activate because it seems like he took a backseat to a desperate Champion--Who doesn't pose much of a threat really. It was over.
