Welcome to MMArmy, this guide will help newer players become more acclimated with the game and all of it's nuances. There are so many factors that go into a game like this, so this manual should help you get up to date on everything you need to know going forward.
Registering Your CampCheck out the World Recruit Value link below before registering your camp.
http://www.mmarmy.com/wrv.php - This new feature to the game is dictating your potential starting stats for new recruits based on his country of origin.Using this feature to determine what Nation you want to use doesn't guarantee you get recruits with those stats,it just increases the chances.
The World Recruit Value changes every Sunday. These values can rise or fall one spot every week. Its completely random as to which stats will change for every nation.
Recruiting Your FightersWhen you have finished recruiting your first 5 fighters,
you are able to recruit one fighter per reset depending on fighter slots available. You can buy more fighter slots by going in to your camp equipment page. At this point you will want to do a number of things before sparring your fighters.
You will noticed these random recruits with specific banners. The recruits are rare and are known as Special Recruits(SR).These fighters come with higher stats, and higher potential hiddens as well.
http://www.mmarmy.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=460317#Post460317Building your CampThere is no official style guide available to help you build your fighters, but there are a few things you can do to get a good idea of what stats you want to focus on.The styles are realistic in term of what stats might be used for a specific style.
The first thing you will want to do is research existing fighters already in the game,to help determine what style you might want to build for your recruited fighters. There are some fighters that use multiple styles. The best way to decide on a style is to look at your fighters already recruited and try to match the highest similar stats
These links give you two ways to research the fighters already in the game
Camp Rankings -
http://www.mmarmy.com/camp_rankings.phpFighter Rankings -
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighters.php?type=p4p&page=1Example If most of your fighters stats have high wrestling, then you would want to look at styles that use wrestling.Try to match as many of them as you can ,so its gives you the best way to compete right from the start.
After you have decided on a style that best fits your camp, its time to buy your equipment for that specific style. The better your equipment, the better chance to raise a fighters stats. You can upgrade this in your camp equipment page.
Sparring your FightersThere are a few new features that make sparring your camp much easier.Once you have chosen a stat that you want to spar, the page will reload with the fighter that has that highest stat in your camp. Then you can decide on how many spars you want to use during that session by using the slider. You can save up to 10 max spars per fighter. Each fighter will have 1 spar added each reset, and there are two 12 hour resets per day.
Your FightersThere are a few things you should know about your individual fighters.
You will notice there are 2 sections above your fighters profile which are Popularity/Aura.
PopularityThis stat changes as you fighters progress throughout the game. Each stage will have a name and a numerical #.This will tell you where your fighter stands within the game. The more fights a fighter has,the more movement you will see depending on wins and losses.
You will also see a list of orgs on the right side of the page where you can see what type of pop that the different orgs require.
AuraThis stat will also change as your fighters progress throughout the game,it will let you know your fighter is currently doing with the game.
Aura will take into account your fighters skills and gives you a bonus each fight based on taking hard fights or tough fights. This will at some point combine with how successful your fighter is given the correct game plan possibly.Right now you get 2400 for winning a fight and -2400 for losing a fight then you start to get bonuses based on the differential of each fighter's total skillcount.
When you recruit a fighter,he will come with a weight class. Each fighter can cut a specific amount of weight up to 35 pounds.
The easiest way to determine what the lowest weight class he can compete in,you can use the tournament feature located under MY LINKS on your fighters page.Click on the weight class you wish to check,if your fighters name shows up on your list of fighters, then he can make that weight every time. Then you can just edit your fighter and move him down to that specific weight class.
NOTE: There is a bug in the tournament qualification, recommend logging out of camp between recruiting a fighter and checking their weight, otherwise they may not show up when they can make the weight. You will also notice a fighters age, recruit date, and years active.Don't pay to much attention to the fighters age. What really matters is his recruit date and years active.Your fighter will become one year older after 6 resets which equals one game year.Every fighter can live between 7-15 game years, but once he reaches 7 active years, they can retire at any time without warning.Fighers can retire about 5 minutes before AM reset.
Hiddens & AttributesThese have a big effect on you fighter, and can determine how well he does throughout their career.Below is a link that explains them.
http://www.mmarmy.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=457100#Post457100Aggression/Patience Stat.Every style is either a aggressive or patient style. These stats only factor in 2% of the build,so don't be too worried about guys with lows stats in either of those categories as it wont really affect the style they are using.
Use the link below to find out more about the different styles and what category they fall in.
http://www.mmarmy.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=476716#Post476716There are 3 options for the way you can view fighter stats, attributes, and equipment.Stat style is located under your list of fighters.
Fighting your CampWhen starting out with a new camp, fight all of your fighters as much as possible even after they are first recruited. There are a few advantages that will help you in the long run by fighting right away.
Don't worry about your fighters or camps record, fight often to earn money quickly so you can upgrade your camp.Whether your fighter wins or loses, they earn money. The more money a camp brings in,the more money you will have to spend on your camp upgrades. Also don't dress your fighters because it is a waste of money. There are no advantages of dressing up a fighter.
There are a few ways you can go about fighting your guys, and choose what fighters to challenge. The easiest ways to fight is to use the challenge all button, but there are reasons why this would not be a good idea just yet.First off...you risk fighting guys way above your fighters level. Also you don't want to fight your guy when he has no chance to win.Trying looking for fighters who are around the same age or similar stated fighters compared to yours.
Equipment UpgradesLevel 2: 5000
Level 3: 50,000
Level 4: 500,000
Level 5: 5 Million
Fighter Slot UpgradesEach camp can hold a max of 40 fighters.I will try to get a list of prices for each slot.
Slot 19: 750K
Slot 20: 1 mil
Slot 21 and up increases by 1 mil
Upgrading your EquipmentThere is a couple ways you can go about deciding when to upgrade fighters slots opposed to camp equipment.
Fighter SlotsYou can upgrade this first which will put more of your fighters into orgs making money for your camp upgrades
Camp EquipmentYou can upgrade all of your needed equipment for the styles you choose for your camp which will make it easier for your fighters stats to rise.
StylesThere are currently 32 styles to choose from. Each style uses a combination of stats.Every style consists of primary and secondary stats, which could be either left or right side stats.Left side stats are very important to a fighters specific style. The right side stats are just as important but for different reasons. All right side stats effect every build, but can vary in terms of the strength they add to abuild. The more right sides stats you build, the better your build becomes.Below, you will find the differences between primary and secondary stats.
Primary StatsThese stats are considered more important to a specific build as it needs to be built higher than the secondary stats. The higher the primary, the more success a fighters has.
Secondary StatsThese stats are known as support stats as they do not need to be trained as high as the primary stats
The Conditioning stat is very important to each build in the exact same way.As the fight progresses,a fighters skill diminishes during the fight.Just like in real MMA,the more conditioning your fighter has ,the stronger he will be in the later rounds.
