Yep pretty much.But other alliances have newer members as well.

yes.Being in an alliance also gives you access to alliance events.You use it to share info on the game between your alliance members and the vets will help you out because the better you become the more you help out your alliance.

Your claim has to go to every alliance leader so it shouldn't be more than a day or 2.

One thing that's still similar is how important weight cutting still is.

It's still important but it has been reduced.You have a better shot at smaller guys being just as good a big weight cutters.
