He becomes the first Australian to win a contender tournament. His win in the final came via a cut just 20 seconds from the end of the fight, which Danny Henry was arguably winning on the scorecards, prior to the cut.
- The featherweights started their tournaments right, getting finishes in all the quarter final fights and not leaving it to the judges.

Yeh these tournaments seem to be going all over the place tbh, with a lot of them fucking up my booking, theres guys I wanna win them and they lose first round and some bum wins the lot, 2 or 3 of them have been won by fighters who were the underdog in every fight including the final, keeps the booking fresh tho I guess
