My concern with the audit is that no matter the findings one side will feel wronged.....therefore deem it illegitimate and tainted somehow. We are too divided. I will never want to live in the same place as someone like Trevor Noah, our world views are to far apart. I've lived in San Francisco and if that is what a modern liberal utopia is supposed to be.......then I dont want anything to do with that shit.

Yeah we're divided, politics is stressful and it feels like both sides are living in 2 completely different worlds. Spent a lot of time over the past few years debating every big political story that came out with people on different platforms, but lately got some irl stuff stressing and need a break from it, and definitely don't have the time to put into political research and debate on another platform like this one.
I've lived in liberal and conservative areas, not a huge difference, you get the same archetypical types of people and businesses, just a few quirks separating them. The liberal/conservative divide is more urban vs rural than state to state, in some ways that impacts the policies they advocate for.
I'm from a pretty left background, parents were hippies and union workers, whole family is dems. West Virginia lets Dupont get away with toxic chemical dumping that has killed several direct family members, environmental protection would probably pull me to the dems if nothing else did. Would rather overregulate than see more birth defects and cancer so that dupont can have a stronger quarterly balance sheet.
The audit is it's own animal. But picture it on the other foot. What if Hillary had refused to accept the results in 2016? Then she worked with dem legislators to hire a company funded by Soros who runs a recount without oversite, without allowing journalists or observers from either side to be present in violation of federal law. Several of the recounters are high ranking BLM protest organizers. Would you accept the recount results? Would you expect them to cheat?
Then they expand and start pushing for these same audits in every state Hillary lost. Would you think the dems have lost their minds? Would you think Hillary is the biggest sore loser in the world for hard denying the validation measures which have worked for the US for 200 years? Would you wonder why anyone would still support her if the official recounts came back Trump, if she lost challenging the results in court 48 times, and she still says she was robbed?

Anyway, wasn't really my point to get into a "who is worse" competition, that would get into research and back and forth I really don't have the time for. Just felt like we had some common ground there for a minute.
While I am thinking back a bit, I was certain Trump would beat hillary, should have put money on it back then. Hillary was unlikeable af and people were familiar with Trump. Didn't know what kind of job he would do. He started to lose me when he took Pence on, never been big on social conservative Christians politicians. Guess everyone has their priorities. What do you like about Trump or the republicans in general? Guns? Tax cuts?
A while back in one of these discussions someone said they never hear anything positive about Biden from his supporters, just negatives about Trump. Have thought about that a lot, and always find it interesting hearing positives from either side.
On trumps side I feel noone is all bad. I think he did the right thing getting us out of the TPP for example.

2016 was disputed HEAVILY from the Democratic party. But not legally challenged Likely due to a lack of evidence. If there was evidence, it would have been brought forward to the courts. Hillary for all porpoises in tents, was slated to win the election. Polling(lol) had her winning, as did every one of her media supporters.
