are you guys commenting here even playing the game? all belts are active. the game has weathered worse storms than this. maybe tweak pop/orgs to fill or cut like one weight on each side would be all that is needed if anything. sure i'd like to see 50 deep divisions but we ain't there and won't be until we get a phone app or some other massive player influx. cutting shit down to barebones is a death spiral. the game will suck more and less people will want to play.
to be honest, most of the folks here, especially on forum side are vets of the game or at least experienced players. the game has been through leaner periods than this and here we are. making the game more fun for the current player base is what i'd say is best, like i love the fact that more people are running tourneys. its a game, lets have fun. hoping new owner will bring new features and investment to the game, but for now its on us. run a tourney or sign up for one, run an active camp (or more if you have it in ya), play regularly, contribute.
just my humble opinion.
i'd love to see an openweight org, that'd be sick. but add it don't just close a bunch of others.
