Alliance Event - Gang War!


Mar 2967
Gang war is on for resets May 2968 to March 2969 (10 reset duration, Monday 1/22 AM reset - Saturday 1/27 AM reset). During this time, arm up your best fighters with your alliance uniform (uniform optional) and update nickname to "Gang War". Whenever those fighters defeat a fighter with another alliances colors on during the war resets, post the link here to make a point. Most points at the end wins. If there is a tie between alliances then most finishes among their links wins.


Scoring

Base 1 point for each win over opposing team fighter in time period, plus bonuses:

Kill Bonus: +1 point for a finish in any scoring fight
Loot Bonus: +1 point for any scoring fight that is for a non efc belt.
Territory Taken Bonus: +2 points for any scoring fight for an EFC belt.

-2 penalty for any participating camp which fights a guy with gang war nickname which is not on the event list.
-2 penalty for fight from guy on event list without gang war nickname

End of War Bonuses

(goes to both/all in the event of a tie on end of war bonuses)

Warmaster Bonus: +2 points to the top scoring player Overall.
MVP Bonus: +2 points to the top scoring fighter Overall.
Stone Cold Killer Bonus: +2 points to the fighter with the most finish wins in scored fights
Enforcer Bonus: +2 to the fighter with the most kos in scored fights
Bonebreaker Bonus: +2 to the fighter with the most submissions in scored fights




What You Can Do

Before Event:
Decide which fighers you want to enter in the war. Update nicknames to "Gang war".

Gather a list of fighters participating for your alliance to send to me prior to event start. Alliances - Please sort these lists by player name, this will make it easier to calculate individual player scores for end bonuses.

Enter as many fighters as you want. Entering a lot of fighters gives many chances for scoring, but also risks giving away points if those fighters are finished by other teams.

During Event Resets:
Try to find and defeat fighters with the Gang War nickname with your event fighters during the event resets, post here if you win those fights. If not found just fight normally.

All alliances will have that issue. I could let you guys pick an alternate non premium uniform but would have to do that for every alliance or it would be an advantage.

Might get too complicated and fall apart if youre looking for guys in blue shirts or something, dunno. Could assign every alliance a color and just wear that color, that would be a way it could work for non premium if it is a big problem.

This just men or women also? No alliance gear for the ladies as of yet.

THC will be representing, going to work on rallying the squad today.

Fyi, Chaos Crew and TLCS are THC family so please don't have another alliance use their gear.

Looking like premium is an issue for some, looking at possible alternatives. Coukd wear specific colors or just nickname event fighters to make it work.

Update - will check fighter lists for scoring. So you don't have to post scoring wins even really, but can if you want. Should be a pretty east event to participate in in that sense. Post fight lists this weekend. Try and fight other event guys next week from Monday am - Saturday am resets, if not found just fight normally. Then done.

Penalty just a fail safe to avoid nickname shenanigans. You get a penalty if you sign up a fighter and don't update their nickname to Gang war for event resets. You get a penalty if you nickname a fighter gang war that isn't in the event. That's it.

Outside of that, fight other event guys if you can find them. If you can't find another event guy to fight on a reset (in those cases fine to fight whoever or sit), or if title obligations warrant fighting non event guy that's fine. You won't score points or lose points from that fighter on that particular reset and all still on and all still good other than that.

You also don't score or lose points from a fighter on a reset if you happen to fight another event fighter that is in your alliance. So during the event you're hunting for gang war nicknamed fighters on other teams.

Note - if able put your alliance after gang war on your nickname. Like gang war sfl, gang war dba. I will accept just gang war or gang war with something else after it, like gang war hogan as long as nickname starts with gang war.

Hoping no penalties will need to be assigned and this just works.

Roster turnin this reset! Can send to me and/or Foul. I'll lock ours in with foul this reset.

In the event of a late roster from one or more alliances the following things happen:
1. Event gets pushed back 1 reset.
2. Late alliances incur a -4 point penalty to event score.
3. On time alliances are allowed to update their roster as they want during this extra reset.

Rosters posted on posts 2-3, should be able to edit for score updates right there as the event moves along.

Need to have Turbo, HB, Catherder, Aaaahhhhh update nicknames for the event, hoping we can get that done this reset and avoid any penalties being a factor.

Don't want penalties to be a big factor, and we've all dealt with space case players. Would like to implement this to simplify the nickname setting thing -

If an event fighter does not have nickname set and wins a scoring fight, they make no points for that one. That way a player who just doesn't set nicknames is not a factor, instead of draining their alliances score.

Still a penalty if someone sets a non-event fighter to gang war nickname, as that clouds things.

Get those nicknames in if you haven't, is important to make the event work easily.

Update, think it adds to the event to give each player a FRESH RECRUIT token to use at any point during the event.

If you have had an event fighter retire, one time you may choose another fighter from any camp you run to replace them for the rest of the event. Can post replacement fighers here to get added to the list and fight right away after. Event fights for them will be officially scored from the time they are posted here on.
