MMarmy Career Challenge Top TenIn an attempt to expediate the process and make it easier for write ups, I will only be examining the top ten in the MCC competition. So without further delay, here's the best of the best of the best!00225 - LW - 20-4 - Bert Long.
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=296281** A smaller LW, but with an extremely well rounded build, Bert is a tough matchup for most fighters. Long has tore off to a 20-4 record, rocketing him into the ProXC. His four losses come via decisions, this is one tough little dude!
00388 - MW - 15-6 - Brett Jenkins.
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=296875**A good sized middle weight, Brett has already held two belts in the competition. Jenkins is following the usual PL / SiO build that has proven successful lately. Coming in from a veteran camp, Brett will have the tools he needs to stay competitive in the upper organizations.
00780 -LHW - 13-3 - Buzz Griffin.
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=299660**One of the early favorites, Buzz has continued his dominance in the competition. Cutting from 227 to 205, his GnP has been exceptional, but Griffin seems to have issues with good 8pts fighters (2 of his 3 losses). Without a JJ switch, Buzz might have some issues with the 8pts / CD fighters lurking at the top of the EFC and Glory organizations.
00894 - LW - 10-3 - Gary Stewart.
http://mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=299683**After a 0-2 start, Gary has been crushing fools left and right. Currently enjoying a seven fight win streak, Stewart is enjoying a slow rise in the rankings.
01042 - MW - 11-5 - Damian Carter.
http://mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=297262**Damian is one of the other title holders in the MCC competition. Also following the PL / SiO mold, our only concern is his chin. When in difficult style matchups, Carter has been KO'd on a regular basis.
01291 - LW - 16-8 - AJ Bryant.
http://mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=297642**A good sized LW prospect, AJ has alot of fights under his belt already. An excellent CD build, Bryant is starting to build a GnP switch into his resume. AJ is 8-0 in his last eight fights, and is definitely one of the favorites at this point.
01439 - LW - 13-6 - Ian Twitty.
http://mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=299178**Ian had a great run going, before moving into the UFL organization. Since then, he's gone 0-3. We're not sure if its just the higher level of competition or if the fight selection, which Camp Beatdown has done well with, is getting more difficult.
01702- HW - 10-5 - Gabriel Barnes.
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=296913**One of the few HW's in the MCC, Big Gabe is doing well. While not exactly destroying anyone, his ground game has earned him a respectable 10-5 record. Looking at his record, it seems almost all of his fights get finished one way or the other.
01834 - WW - 11-6 - Tom Jones.
http://mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=296772**This submission fighter has finally shaken off a three fight losing streak with a SD win. We figure Tom has caught up to the level of competition in the organizations and will probably hang around the UFL level until his stats increase a little more.
01977 - WW - 15-6 - Manuel Pereira.
http://www.mmarmy.com/fighter_display.php?id=299235**Despite having built a JJ switch into this fighter, crimage is having issues with JJ fighters. His FF is solid, but can he keep advancing without a dominate switch? Once Manuel is out of the MCA organization, we should have a better idea of where he stands.
