Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Late Bloomer" directs the head of "SR Killer" leading to a stiff knee to the face. While tied up, Otto McConomy is met with a hard uppercut. "Late Bloomer" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from "Late Bloomer" is defended well by McConomy. "Late Bloomer" grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. "Late Bloomer" returns to the clinch. Otto McConomy swims to double underhooks and turns "Late Bloomer" but "Late Bloomer" gets double underhooks of his own and rotates Otto McConomy right back into the cage. "Late Bloomer" grinds his forearm into the face of Otto while holding him into the cage. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Carter connects with numerous jabs to the face of Otto McConomy. Carter parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Gabe connects with a series of punches forcing Otto into a clinch. Otto McConomy grabs the plum and pulls Carters face into a powerful knee. Gabe is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. "SR Killer" explodes forward with a push kick that puts Gabe on the canvas. Otto McConomy stands over Gabe Carter, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gabe Carter is able to grab an arm and pull Otto McConomy into his guard. Two heavy strikes from Otto dazes Gabe. Otto crawls over to side mount. "SR Killer" attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from "Late Bloomer" for his troubles. McConomy lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Otto McConomy throws a cross that easily dodged by Gabe. "Late Bloomer" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Gabe Carter snaps back the head of "SR Killer" with a stiff jab. Otto McConomy eats a strong cross as "Late Bloomer" moves into the clinch. Otto lands a powerful knee to the face of Carter. Otto McConomy swims to double underhooks and turns Gabe but Gabe gets double underhooks of his own and rotates Otto McConomy right back into the cage. Gabe works Otto into the cage from the clinch. Gabe presses his head under "SR Killers" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Otto attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Gabes strikes. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 A welt begins to form under Gabe Carters eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "SR Killer". Otto McConomy locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Gabe Carter. "SR Killer" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Otto McConomy works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Gabe Carter recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Otto McConomy connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Gabe Carter is dazed on the mat. Otto lays into Gabes thighs with some well timed kicks while Carter is grounded. Otto kicks at the legs of Gabe and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Gabe to stand. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
