Round 1 David Ramirez connects with a hard punch making Yang bring him in to a tight clinch. Yang throws a solid knee to the jaw of David. Eric breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. "El Silbon" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. David Ramirez keeps Eric Yang at a distance with some well timed jabs. Yang lands a hook to the body. David parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Eric Yang drops a huge strike to "El Silbons" chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Eric Yang is cornered by David Ramirez who tries to press the action. Eric Yang is able to block well and circles away from David Ramirez, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Ramirez is defended well by Yang. Ramirez grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Ramirez returns to the clinch. Eric is hit by successive knees on either side of his ribcage. "El Silbon" grabs the plum and pulls Eric Yangs face into a powerful knee. David Ramirez snaps back the head of "Se Lang" with a stiff jab. Yang uses his jabs to set up crushing inside and outside leg kicks. David Ramirez connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting "Se Lang". The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 David connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Eric is leading with his head during his combos and David makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Eric shakes it off as he steps back. Eric Yang throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by David Ramirez. David Ramirez lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Eric Yang on his back. David hovers over Yang pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Yang sends a hard up kick that rocks David. Yang stands back up. "El Silbon" connects with a right that puts Yang off balance tumbling to the mat, as "El Silbon" towers over him. Eric thrusts his leg into Ramirezs knee while grounded. David Ramirez grabs a foot and kicks at "Se Langs" thighs. He then backs off and Eric Yang stands back up. Eric Yang parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. David throws a push kick. Eric Yang shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Ramirezs nose.
The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Eric Yang connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. David hits an uppercut to the head of Eric Yang followed by a hard hook. David Ramirez connects with a strong body shot combo. A welt begins to form under Erics eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Ramirez.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 "El Silbon" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Yang gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Ramirez peppers "Se Lang" with several shots to the face. "Se Lang" slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Yang connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of David. "El Silbon" is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines "El Silbon" can continue. "Se Lang" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick.Round 5 comes to a close.
