Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. MacCormack connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Conroy is dazed on the mat. "Fortuitous CC" hovers over Tadhg Conroy pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. "Fortuitous CC" waves for Tadhg Conroy to stand up. Tadhg Conroy throws a push kick. "Fortuitous CC" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Tadhgs nose.
MacCormack starts to put on the pressure, forcing Tadhg back into the cage. MacCormack takes advantage and clinches. MacCormack is jockeying for position in the clinch. MacCormack works to Tadhg Conroys back while standing. MacCormack throws a couple of outside shots until Conroy is able to work his way back to the clinch. Tadhg Conroy escapes the clinch and creates some distance.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Tadhg connects with a hard punch making MacCormack bring him in to a tight clinch. "Fortuitous CC" receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Darragh MacCormack gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Tadhg Conroy lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Darragh MacCormack attempts a takedown but is out leveraged and taken down himself. Tadhg now is in dominant side mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Conroy throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Darragh MacCormack is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Tadhg feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Darragh. Darragh is hit with a cross and a liver shot and stumbles backward. Conroy explodes forward with at superman punch that drops Darragh to the canvas. Conroy cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings MacCormack back to his feet. MacCormack is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Tadhg prepares to pounce, but MacCormack gets his bearings just in time. Tadhg lays into Darraghs thighs with some well timed kicks while MacCormack is grounded. Tadhg Conroy lays into Darragh MacCormacks thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Darragh does so. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Tadhg Conroy unleashes a flurry of punches ending with "Fortuitous CC" out cold from a right hook.
