Round 3 Luc circles Rogers, landing jabs at will. Luc Fay gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Ray works his arm around the neck of Fay attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Fay hand fights well. Luc slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Luc connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Rogers. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Luc blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Ray Rogers tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. "Piranha" hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Rogers. "Piranha" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Round 5 Ray Rogers connects with numerous jabs to the face of Fay. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Ray Rogers wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of "Piranha". Rogers wraps the arm of "Piranha" behind his back and traps it. Rogers pounds away with shots to the face. Rogers delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Luc Fay to turn over. Rogers takes the back. Luc Fay carefully protects himself from Rogerss strikes. Giving up his back, "Piranha" panics and gives up mount instead. Round 5 comes to a close.
