Round 1 Cosmas Athanas attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a hard elbow to the chin. Ken Herman connects with a series of punches forcing Cosmas into a clinch. Athanas receieves numerous knees to the thighs from "3 Stooges CC". Ken Herman is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Cosmas Athanas recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "3 Stooges CC" gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. A strong elbow forces Cosmas to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Herman lays into Athanass thighs with some well timed kicks while Athanas is grounded. Ken Herman stands over Cosmas Athanas, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Cosmas Athanas is able to grab an arm and pull Ken Herman into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Ken connects with a hard punch making Cosmas Athanas bring him in to a tight clinch. Athanas drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Ken sets a guillotine choke but Athanas slips out at the last moment. Athanas is now caught in guard. Ken Herman backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Ken Herman fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Cosmas. A full foot sweep knocks Cosmas to the ground. "3 Stooges CC" dances around Athanass legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Cosmas Athanas circles Ken, mixing jabs with body shots. A shot is side stepped by Ken but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down Ken. Cosmas Athanas settles into his guard. Ken Herman shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. A can opener from Cosmas Athanas opens up Kens guard. Cosmas Athanas lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Ken defends short shots well by turning his head. Cosmas Athanas attempts to get a leg free to pass but Ken has it locked down too well. Cosmas Athanas tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Cosmas Athanas slips out of half guard and into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Cosmas dazed. Cosmas Athanas drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Herman bucks Cosmas Athanas off and scrambles into his guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Cosmas Athanas stuffs a shot from Ken Herman and lands several shots to his body. Ken Herman attempts to pull guard but Cosmas Athanas makes it to side mount. Athanas slides his knee across the body of Ken and takes full mount. Cosmas Athanas secures his position. "3 Stooges CC" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Athanas slides to the side and spanks the butt of Herman in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Ken slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Round 5 is over.
