Round 1 "The Calgary Kid" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Caco Rego. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Caco Rego escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "The Calgary Kid" takes down Caco, but remains standing over him. Del attempts to drop a fist on Caco, but misses and lands in his guard. Del Young takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Cacos guard. It doesn't pay off as Caco Rego makes his way to standing. "The Calgary Kid" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Caco to a corner. Caco swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Caco is pummeled by some well timed bombs from "The Calgary Kid". Rego attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Del Young the chance to pass to side control. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Caco Rego snaps back the head of Del Young with a stiff jab. The fighters circle each other. "Canadian Bacon" throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Del Young throws a short elbow at Rego. Rego works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Del Young dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Canadian Bacon" standing over him.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 A couple of powerful body shots forces Rego back to the corner. "The Calgary Kid" swims to double underhooks. Rego cannot stop "The Calgary Kid" from stepping back and taking him to the floor. "Canadian Bacon" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Young slips out at the last second. Young takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Regos guard. It doesn't pay off as "Canadian Bacon" makes his way to standing. Del Young parries Caco Regos jab and connect with a cross. Del snaps back the head of Caco Rego with a stiff jab. Del Young wraps around Cacos waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control "The Calgary Kid" drops some hammer fists on Caco. A series of strong hammerfists forces "Canadian Bacon" to roll over, giving up his back. Round 3 is over.
