Round 1
Peterson fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hayden. Wes gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Peterson dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Cameron Hayden standing over him. Cameron attempts to drop a fist on "Grand Prix", but misses and lands in his guard. Wes goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Hayden slips out at the last second. Round 2
Cameron Hayden works Peterson into a corner, swimming for double underhooks. Cameron Hayden presses his head into "Grand Prixs" chest, forcing him to the ground. Hayden dodges a few strikes from Wes and lands an overhand and a elbow. Hayden takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Grand Prixs" guard. It doesn't pay off as Wes makes his way to standing. Cameron Hayden circles "Grand Prix", mixing jabs with body shots. Cameron Hayden snaps back the head of Wes Peterson with a stiff jab. Hayden stuffs a shot from Wes and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Wes takes a few knees to the body while under Cameron Haydens side control. Wes Peterson tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Wes Peterson fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hayden. Hayden places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cameron attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Peterson pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Cameron takes Wes down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Wes. Cameron drops a huge strike to Petersons chin, landing into his guard. Cameron Hayden takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Petersons guard. It doesn't pay off as Wes Peterson makes his way to standing. A shot catches Peterson off balance and off guard. Hayden spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Peterson lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Wes Peterson works for a triangle but Cameron Hayden throws Petersons straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Round 3 is finished.
