Round 1 Ali connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Gustav. Ali shuffles away from "Home Wreckers" strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. "Home Wrecker" backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Ali keeps Gustav Thayer at a distance with some well timed jabs. Kadivar shuffles away from Gustavs strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Gustav backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gustav circles Ali Kadivar, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Kadivar drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Home Wrecker" sets a guillotine choke but Kadivar slips out at the last moment. Kadivar is now caught in guard. Gustav Thayer attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Gustav locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Ali. Thayer connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Kadivar is dazed on the mat. Gustav hovers over Kadivar pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Kadivar sends a hard up kick that rocks Gustav. Kadivar stands back up.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Gustav Thayer throws a push kick. Kadivar shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Gustav Thayers nose.
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ali is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Kadivar grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Gustav Thayer under the eye. Gustav Thayer recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Ali attempts to press in on Thayer but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Ali Kadivar shuffles away from Gustav Thayers strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Gustav backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Kadivar and Thayer begin to trade strikes. Thayer lands a jab, cross. Kadivar connects with a body shot followed by a hook. Kadivar gains a muay-thai clinch and lands some hard hooks. He then pulls Gustavs head to a strong knee strike, knocking him to the floor. Round 3 comes to a close.
