Round 1 A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Gan Sithchuchok. Steele is able to pull him into his guard. Gan Sithchuchok attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Steele slips out of it at the last moment. Gan sits up in Cliffs open guard and spins to an leg lock. Cliff is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Cliff Steele connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Gan Sithchuchok connects with jab cross combination. Sithchuchok wraps around Steeles waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Steele takes a few knees to the body while under Gan Sithchuchoks side control. Gan Sithchuchok postures up and lands a couple of strong elbows to the head of Steele. Steele rolls away from Gan Sithchuchok but Gan Sithchuchok follows him and takes his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Gan tries to hyperextend the knee of Cliff with a kick to the kneecap. Cliff hops back to avoid it. Cliff Steele connects with a hard jab as Gan attempts a wide outside hook. Sithchuchok keeps Steele at a distance with some well timed jabs. Sithchuchok winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cliff receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Gan Sithchuchok. Gan attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Cliff standing over him. Steele attempts to drop a fist on Sithchuchok, but misses and lands in his guard. Sithchuchok starts to lock a triangle. Cliff Steele postures up and Cliff Steele settles for a few stiff chops to Sithchuchoks face. Cliff Steele is pulled close and is hit with a couple of strong heel strikes to the back. Sithchuchok fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Cliff Steele. Steele passes through Sithchuchoks guard into mount. The round comes to an end.
