Round 1
"Blue Yoshi" narrowly dodges a cross from Alejandro Lopez, but falls catching him in his guard. Alejandro passes through Yoshikazus guard into mount. Yoshikazu gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yoshikazu Kusunoki is able to make it back to the standing position. Alejandro Lopez slides in and grabs a leg lock taking "Blue Yoshi" to the ground. Alejandro Lopez works for a reverse heel hook but cannot finish and opts to enter Yoshikazu Kusunokis guard. Alejandro Lopez attempts to pass Yoshikazus guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. Yoshikazu Kusunoki gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yoshikazu tries to explode out the backdoor but Alejandro Lopez sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Yoshikazu falls flat to protect himself. Alejandro Lopez lays into Yoshikazu with some strong shots forcing Yoshikazu to give up mount position. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Lopez takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Yoshikazu Kusunokis guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Alejandro Lopez and he is able to sneak his leg through Yoshikazu Kusunokis loose guard, to half guard. Kusunoki holds the head of Lopez close to avoid shots. Lopez slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Lopez slips out of half guard and into side control. Alejandro wraps the arm of Yoshikazu Kusunoki behind his back and traps it. Alejandro pounds away with shots to the face. Alejandro Lopez slides his knee across the body of Kusunoki and takes full mount. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
"Blue Yoshi" tries to hyperextend the knee of "Two Day Old Flan" with a kick to the kneecap. "Two Day Old Flan" hops back to avoid it. "Two Day Old Flan" narrowly dodges a cross from Yoshikazu Kusunoki, but falls catching him in his guard. Alejandro is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Kusunoki pushes down "Two Day Old Flans" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Lopez tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "Blue Yoshi" slams his knee into Lopezs ribs. "Two Day Old Flan" holds the head of Yoshikazu Kusunoki close to avoid shots. Yoshikazu Kusunoki slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
