Round 1 Urie Golubev is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Urie Golubev trips Collins to the floor, landing in side control. Golubev attempts an armbar, but Slater Collins stops the attempt. Golubev uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Collins attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Slater gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Golubev peppers Slater with several shots to the face. Urie Golubev tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Urie fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Collins. Slater Collins works Golubev into the cage from the clinch. Slater Collins presses his head under Urie Golubevs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Urie attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Slater Collins pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Urie Golubev throws a hard jab but Slater Collins throws a cross right over the top that knocks Urie Golubev to the ground. Slater Collins stands over Urie Golubev, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Urie Golubev is able to grab an arm and pull Slater Collins into his guard. Collins takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Urie Golubevs guard. It doesn't pay off as Urie Golubev makes his way to standing. Slater plows through Urie with a driving double leg takedown. Golubev begins to posture on his side. Collins lands a couple of outside hooks and Golubev returns to the guard. Urie lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Urie Golubev hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Slater lands a hook to the body. Urie Golubev dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Slater Collins plows through Urie with a driving double leg takedown. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
