Round 1 Jim Douglas pushes away from "Hulk" and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Douglas locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Hogan. Hogan drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Kumite" sets a guillotine choke but Hogan slips out at the last moment. Hogan is now caught in guard. "Kumite" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Jim Douglas parries "Hulks" jab and lands a liver shot. Joey connects with a strong body shot combo. Joey Hogan connects with a right that puts Jim Douglas off balance tumbling to the mat, as Joey Hogan towers over him. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Joey looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Jim lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Jim winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. A running flurry from Joey is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Douglas. Douglas follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. A running flurry from Douglas is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Hogan. Hogan follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. "Kumite" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Joey is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. A roundhouse is dodged by "Hulk" who tries to capitalize. Jim follows his momentum and lands a spinning side kick that catch "Hulk" in the belly. Douglas lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Joey is struck by a ball kick from Jim that puts him on his back. Douglas weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Jim Douglas dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Joey. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Kumite" slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Hogan. Joey Hogan locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of "Kumite". "Kumite" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Hulk" sets a guillotine choke but "Kumite" slips out at the last moment. "Kumite" is now caught in guard. "Kumite" uses strikes to open Joeys guard. "Kumite" stands up and waves "Hulk" up. Joey Hogan lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by "Kumite". "Hulk" lands a stiff jab and inside-leg kick. Douglas stuffs a shot from Joey and strikes two solid knees to his skull. Joey is stunned and Douglas takes mount with in a quick scramble. The bell signals the end of round 3.
