Round 1
Ritzel snaps back the head of Santiago Requiao with a stiff jab. Santiago Requiao unleashes a flurry of punches on Ritzel. Ekkehardt hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. "The Pretzels" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. "The Pretzel" hits an uppercut to the head of Requiao followed by a hard hook. Both fighters begin to exchange Requiao catches Ekkehardt Ritzel with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Ekkehardt Ritzel gather himself. Ekkehardt Ritzel says he is ok and the fight continues. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Ritzel lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Requiao circling away. Ekkehardt lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Santiago. Santiago tries to hyperextend the knee of Ritzel with a kick to the kneecap. Ritzel hops back to avoid it. "The Pretzel" circles away from Requiao, landing strong kicks to the lead leg. Santiago Requiao hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Ekkehardt Ritzel escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Requiao connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Santiago is staggered by a jab to the chin. Requiao attempts to press in on Ritzel but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Requiao parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Ekkehardt Ritzel kicks at the legs of Requiao and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Requiao to stand. Round 3 is over.
