Round 1 Alfredo Barrio connects with a hard jab as "Karate" attempts a wide outside hook. "Karate" fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Alfredo quickly takes his back. Russell carefully protects himself from Alfredos strikes. "Karate" is able to make it back to the standing position. Bif Russell throws a few jabs at Barrio that miss the mark. A wild hook from Alfredo is ducked by Russell who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. "Karate" throws a few jabs at Alfredo Barrio that miss the mark. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Alfredo parries Russells jab and connect with a cross. "Karate" connects with numerous jabs to the face of Barrio. Barrio parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. "Karate" grabs a foot and kicks at Alfredos thighs. He then backs off and Barrio stands back up. "Karate" connects with a right that puts Alfredo Barrio off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Karate" towers over him. Alfredo Barrio thrusts his leg into "Karates" knee while grounded. Bif Russell kicks at the legs of Alfredo and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Alfredo to stand. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Alfredo Barrio attempts to press in on Russell but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bif works Alfredo Barrio into the cage from the clinch. Bif presses his head under Barrios chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Barrio takes "Karates" back standing. Bif Russell isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Barrio lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Bif Russell to release. "Karate" lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Alfredo Barrio circles "Karate", landing jabs and crosses at will. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Alfredo Barrio is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Bif Russell prepares to pounce, but Alfredo Barrio gets his bearings just in time. "Karate" drops a powerful fist onto Barrio. Alfredo Barrios eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
