Round 1 Maurice throws a hard jab but Dunn throws a cross right over the top rocking Maurice. Ward narrowly dodges a cross from "Wade Boggs", but falls catching him in his guard. Owen Dunn tries to pass guard but Maurice stops him with a well timed punch. Maurice Ward works for a triangle but Dunn throws Maurices straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Dunn hits Maurice with some punches to the side of the head. Owen wraps the arm of Maurice Ward behind his back and traps it. Owen pounds away with shots to the face. "Wade Boggs" drops an elbow onto the forehead of Ward. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ward takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Maurice connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Dunn parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Dunn stuffs a shot from Maurice Ward and lands some powerful outside hammerfists, eventually taking side mount. Maurice Ward gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Wade Boggs" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. "Wade Boggs" executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. A deep cut is open up over the eye of Maurice from strikes in the guard. The ref stops the fight so the doctor can look at it. The doctor says he can continue. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Maurice attempts to grab the plum but Dunn takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Maurice. Owen Dunn knocks the wind out of Maurice Ward with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Maurice Ward slips a cross from Owen and lands an uppercut to the liver. Maurice circles Owen, landing jabs and crosses at will. "pro" connects with a hard punch making Dunn bring him in to a tight clinch. Maurice Ward fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Dunn up for a flurry of hooks. As "pro" presses forward Dunn throws a wild spinning backfist. "pro" leans away from the strike and lands a couple of strong punches that staggers Dunn. Maurice stands over "Wade Boggs", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Wade Boggs" cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 5 is finished.
