Round 1 Helge is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Guerra tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Helge that puts him on the floor. Sorokin grabs a foot and kicks at Acelino Guerras thighs. He then backs off and Acelino stands back up. Sorokin connects with a right that puts Guerra off balance tumbling to the mat, as Sorokin towers over him. "the Russian Islander" lays into Acelinos thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Guerra does so. Acelino attempts a striking combination, but Helge Sorokin forces the clinch. Sorokin stomps the feet of Guerra. "Ace of Spades" attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. "the Russian Islander" lands in half guard. Guerra tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Acelino is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 A running flurry from Helge Sorokin is countered by a shovel punch to the jaw. Acelino then grabs the plum and throws Helge Sorokin to the ground, immediately striking Helges thighs. Acelino kicks at the legs of Helge Sorokin and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Helge Sorokin to stand. Guerra connects with a right that puts Helge Sorokin off balance tumbling to the mat, as Guerra towers over him. Acelino Guerra lays into Sorokins thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "the Russian Islander" does so. Sorokin connects with a hard punch making Guerra bring him in to a tight clinch. Sorokin receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Acelino Guerra. Helge lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Acelino for a trip takedown. Acelino is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in "the Russian Islanders" half guard. "Ace of Spades" slams his knee into Helges ribs. Guerra opens a cut over the eye of Helge Sorokin. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Ace of Spades" attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by an upward elbow strike that rocks him. "the Russian Islander" connects with a strong right hook. Acelino Guerra dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Helge Sorokin. "the Russian Islander" lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Acelino circling away. Acelino lands a double jab.Round 3 comes to a close.
