Round 1 Shig connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A trip to the ground allows Inao to move into the guard of Tan. Shig Inao frees a leg and moves into half guard. Chi Tan pulls the foot in of Inao using leverage to sweep him into side control. Shig sweeps over Tan and quickly obtains mount position. Shig Inao is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Tan is now caught in Shig Inaos guard. Tan defends a triangle attempt, throwing Inaos straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. Inao is able to hold him to half guard. Chi Tan is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Inao arches his body up to buck off Tan from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Tan attempts to press in but Shig Inao uses a inside reaping to put Tan on the canvas. Shig Inao hops to side control.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Tan connects with a series of punches forcing Shig Inao into a clinch. Inao gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Shig Inao escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Chi is hit with two hard punches to his face. Chi laughs off the punches. Tan tries to hyperextend the knee of Shig with a kick to the kneecap. Shig hops back to avoid it. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Tan eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Shig Inao. Shig connects with a hard straight to the body. Chi Tan drops to a knee in pain giving Shig the opportunity to finish him off with strikes.
