Round 1
Rusty Popham winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Both fighters begin to exchange Ashton catches Popham with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Popham gather himself. Popham says he is ok and the fight continues. Ashton Elliott takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Popham to hit him harder. Ashton Elliott locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Rusty Popham. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Ashton Elliott connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Rusty is dazed on the mat. Elliott drops a huge strike to Rusty Pophams chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Ashton circles Rusty, mixing jabs with body shots. Ashton Elliott shuffles away from Rustys strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Popham backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Rusty Popham eats a stiff kick to the face. Rusty attempts a jab but is countered by a hard left leg kick to the knee and is instantly followed by a left hook that knocks him out cold.
