Jones attempts a striking combination, but Dick forces the clinch. Scott Jones drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Dick Torres sets a guillotine choke but Scott Jones slips out at the last moment. Scott Jones is now caught in guard. Torres attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Jones attempts a striking combination, but Torres forces the clinch. A strong elbow forces Scott Jones to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Torres dances around Scotts legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Dick lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Dick Torres drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jones sets a guillotine choke but Dick Torres slips out at the last moment. Dick Torres is now caught in guard. Dick backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. "Bones" counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. "Head" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Torres snaps back the head of "Bones" with a stiff jab. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Bones" chips away at Dick Torres with a series of kicks to the legs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Dick Torres drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jones sets a guillotine choke but Dick Torres slips out at the last moment. Dick Torres is now caught in guard. Jones backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Dick lands a solid kick to the front leg of "Bones". "Bones" strikes with a straight front kick. Scott Jones lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Round 3 is over.
