Round 1 "The Bully" circles Mark Walker, landing jabs and crosses at will. Butch sends Mark Walker to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Nelson backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Butch Nelson connects with a strong right hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Mark Walker to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Butch lays into Marks thighs with some well timed kicks while Mark Walker is grounded. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "The Bully" attempts a lazy shot, which Mark Walker sprawls, eventually taking "The Bully" back. Butch Nelson tries to explode out the backdoor but Mark Walker sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Butch Nelson falls flat to protect himself. Nelson starts to wiggle out of back control, Mark Walker lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Butch shoots but Mark stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. Mark Walker slides his knee across the body of "The Bully" and takes full mount. Mark maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Butch gives his back up trying to escape the mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Mark Walker catches a leg kick from "The Bully", and puts him on the mat. Walker pushes down Nelsons leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Butch tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Butch hits an upward elbow on Walker, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Walker takes side control. "The Bully" takes a few knees to the body while under Mark Walkers side control. Butch Nelson tries to get back to full guard, but has to settle with half guard. Nelson tries to scramble out of half guard, but Mark Walker takes his back during it. Butch tries to stand up but Mark plants him back down with several strikes. Butch tries to stand up but Mark plants him back down with several strikes. Round 3 is over.
