Round 1
Del sprawls a takedown attempt from Molina. Molina eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Mateo sends Del Hill to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Mateo uses strikes to open Dels guard. Mateo stands up and waves Hill up. The fighters circle each other. Del connects with a hard punch making Molina bring him in to a tight clinch. Mateo Molina grabs the plum and tosses Del Hill to the ground. Mateo hovers over Hill pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Hill sends a hard up kick that rocks Mateo. Hill stands back up. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Mateo Molina connects with a hard punch making Hill bring him in to a tight clinch. Del receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Mateo Molina. Molina fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Del Hill up for a flurry of hooks. Mateo traps Del Hill in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. "El Tornado Cubano" circles Hill, mixing jabs with body shots. Mateo Molina lands a hook to the body. Mateo connects with a right that puts Del Hill off balance tumbling to the mat, as Mateo towers over him. "El Tornado Cubano" pounces on Del, but is met with a powerful upkick. "El Tornado Cubano" manages to land into side control though. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Both fighters begin to exchange "El Tornado Cubano" catches Hill with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Hill gather himself. Hill says he is ok and the fight continues. Molina throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Del puts Molina on the mat giving his back up. "El Tornado Cubano" carefully protects himself from Del Hills strikes. "El Tornado Cubano" starts to wiggle out of back control, Del Hill lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Del throws a hard jab but Molina throws a cross right over the top rocking Del. Del connects with a jab cross combination. Molina sends Del to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 4
Del Hill is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Del Hill can continue. After dodging a jab-cross, Molina lands a kick to the liver of Del Hill who steps back and begins to take a knee. Molina rushes forward to capitalize but Del Hill stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Molina grabs the plum and pulls Del Hills face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Molina lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Del Hill is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Molina lays into Dels thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Hill does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A welt begins to form under Del Hills eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "El Tornado Cubano". After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hill takes "El Tornado Cubanos" back standing. Mateo isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Hill lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Mateo to release. Mateo lands a looping hook to Hills temple, backing him off. Mateo follows with a lead-leg kick that buckles Del the ground. Mateo stands over Hill, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hill cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 5 is over.
