After dodging a jab-cross, Ignacio Rodriquez lands a kick to the liver of Bento who steps back and begins to take a knee. Ignacio Rodriquez rushes forward to capitalize but Bento stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Ignacio Rodriquez parries Bentos jab and lands an uppercut. Bento lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a strong uppercut. Ignacio Rodriquez counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. A series of unanswered punches from Ignacio forces the ref to stop the action.
