Round 1
Faddei throws a cross that easily dodged by Borodin. Semyon snaps back the head of Faddei with a stiff jab. Borodin ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Faddei Mordvinov to the mat, and his back. Semyon Borodin peppers Faddei Mordvinov with several shots to the face. Faddei Mordvinov starts to wiggle out of back control, Semyon Borodin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Faddei is staggered by a jab to the chin. Faddei Mordvinov throws a strike that Semyon slips and then uses a Kosoto Gake trip and falls into Faddeis guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Faddei is staggered by a jab to the chin. Borodin connects with a series of punches forcing Faddei into a clinch. Semyon hops up throwing his leg over Faddei Mordvinovs arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Faddei to the mat. Faddei slips out of the hold. Semyon Borodin attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Mordvinov slips out at the last moment. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Faddei Mordvinov circles Semyon, landing jabs and crosses at will. Semyon Borodin ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Faddei to the mat, and his back. Faddei carefully protects himself from Semyon Borodins strikes. Mordvinov slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Faddei throws a cross that easily dodged by Semyon Borodin. "The Honey Badger" sets a guillotine choke but Faddei Mordvinov slips out at the last moment. Faddei Mordvinov is now caught in guard. Borodin attempts an ambar from the guard. Faddei Mordvinov defends it but is switched to mount. Round 4 is over.

Round 5
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Semyon Borodin attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Faddeis strikes. Mordvinov fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening "The Honey Badger" up for a flurry of hooks. Faddei Mordvinov lands a devastating overhand right on Semyon. Faddei Mordvinov takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Mordvinov is staggered by a jab to the chin. Mordvinov parries Semyon Borodins jab and connect with a cross that floors Semyon. Faddei Mordvinov lays into Borodins thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "The Honey Badger" does so. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
